  • Piercing law age restriction uk
Babies cant talk for themselves, they dont understand whats right from wrong and causing unnecessary harm to a child should be banned. Piercings arent because the baby wants it, its because parents want their babies to look pretty. Its unhygenic and with children touching their ears all the time it causes infection. Why would you cause your child unnecessary pain for something thats aesthetically pleasing to you. Its not necessary. Lawyers have classed piercings as surgical operations as you are having your skin opened up. My daughter had her ears pierced without my consent and had severe infections to the point of the ear being so swollen that it swallowed the backing of the stud and the ear had to be cut to retrieve the backing of the stud. Until kids understand the care and cleaning that a piercing takes, they should not be allowed to be pierced.

  • GOLDFISH AS FAIR PRIZES.
Animal rights. The 2008 Animal Welfare act. I was at a fair today with my friends and I walked past a stall I hoped I wouldn’t see. I couldn’t believe how cruel people could be to leave a LIVING creature in a tiny bag/box in direct sun and charge £3 for it. Winners are paying for a more deaths of innocent beings. I hope you can feel my passion for this and have the curtesy to help put a stop to animal crueltly. You can have fun at a fair, but leave the fish to be sold and go to those who want and know how to care for an animal properly. Thankyou.

  • Allow fibromyalgia sufferers medicinal cannabis
As a sufferer of fibromyalgia, hypermobility syndrome and degenerative discs, i struggle to move on the morning and every day is filled with constant pain. No painkillers have worked so im left struggling each day. This brings anxiety and depression with it, and other symptoms. Cannabis has been proven to work in those with these conditions abroad, and its time we made it legal here on the nhs for those suffering with chronic pain. If the government understood how these conditions affect mental health, how pain depresses a person and depression makes the pains worse, they will help us.

  • Petition to force fast food companies to have unsalted fries with all children’s meals
This is extremely important as adding salt to fries increases the child’s intake and promotes unhealthy eating which can lead to child obesity and other health related issues. It seems ludicrous that as a parent I have to request that my child’s fries are unsalted which usually results in a longer waiting time. These fast food establishments such as McDonald’s and other high street brands which offer children’s meals need to readdress this, the fries should be sold unsalted as a standard, some parents may not realise that you can request unsalted fries, which is backwards as it shouldn’t even be an options on a child’s meal. It’s about time that this changes. Let’s make a stand and push for companies to do everything in their power to be as healthy a success possibly for ourselves and our children. We all enjoy these places as a treat but we should also be confident in these establishments to be doing everything they can to ensure our meals are fresh and as healthy as possible.

  • Diabetic sensors
This is so important for me to help my 9year grandson who is type1 life easier on a daily basis using these sensors make it easier during the day and at night to check his blood without waking him with finger prick with test strips. These sensors are so expensive to buy and it's hard for a young working couple with other outgoing to have this extra amount of money to go out. You will do without for your child to have these sensors...type 1diabetic have enough to deal with so this makes life so much easier and safer. My friend is also type 1 too and works hard so she can buy these sensors. Type1 diabetics struggle on a daily basis so why can't these be made available on the NHS they are more than test strip but all round a better way to test their blood. I also think all type 1diabetics should have the help make it easier to do bloods with an immediate and painless result. This is a life threatening disease and they can struggle on a daily basis.

  • Re placement Gates
Gates have been erected at Maudland Road thru to Seymore Road, South Shore, Blackpool, it is understood the gates were for the security of the rear of St Heliers Road. The placement of the gates has restricted access to and from Bancroft park and the South Shore area as well as easier access to bus routes on Lytham Road and the main gate of Blackpool Gateway Academy. These inconveniences have had a detrimental effect on the residents of St Heliers Road, Saville Road, Maudland Road, Baron Road, Stansfield Street and Central Drive and beyond. The problems cover a range of issues, namely lowered security, health issues, traffic problems and the general wellbeing of the community. Repositioning the access to this walk way will allow access to Bancroft park and South Shore and improve the wellbeing of many of the residents.

  • LETS BRING AN ICESKATING RINK TO NORWICH, UK
An iceskating rink would be a perfect idea for local residents and a tourist attraction. The local icerink from Norwich is in Peterbourough (1 hour 38 minutes.) This is inconvenient for those who wish to bond with family, spend time with community due to it being too far to travel.
