My nan has lived on the 12th floor of a Shepherd's Bush Tower block for 40 years. She is 77, if a fire broke out in the flats on her floor or higher she couldn't be reached. She walks with a walker and wouldn't make it down the stairs. Who would save her ??? In light of the Grenfell Fire it's now More important than ever. The firefighters did an Amazing Job but they didn't have the resources to reach the top. This isn't their fault it's due to cuts, those victims had to wait for a crane from Surrey!

It could save the Nhs billions a year!

Since 2012, when the Conservatives came into power, funding to children and teenagers mental health care has drastically decreased. Now only 0.6% of NHS budget goes CAMHS, who give help to these people. This is not a beneficial way of spending the money as children and teenagers mental health is a growing problem. These cuts mean charities like Young Minds and Mind have to fill the gaps and help vulnerable kids who don't get the help they need from CAMHS.

It's a damning indictment of our society that people are afraid to accept help because of draconian, ideological restrictions on social housing. People MUST be treated with dignity.

As parents and other local community members, we are worried about the health impacts, among many other impacts, that the exploratory drilling and fracking in our area will cause. Licences have already been granted in this area, and exploratory drilling may well take place before the end of 2017. Water companies have already warned that drinking water could be contaminated with methane gas and chemicals used in fracking, in any drilled area. These are our villages, where we and our children live, grow up and go to school. This is their home and safe place. If there should even be the smallest risk that their health would be affected by fracking or exploratory drilling, we should be able to object to it and our MP should object to plans*, in the best interest of his or her constituents. *We ask that they object to action which includes exploratory drilling as well as actual extraction, whether it uses less or more than the prescribed cubic volume at each stage or in total - if less, it can slip through and be carried out under current legislation, without planning permission, or giving locals the chance to formally object.* Fracking uses huge amounts of water that must be transported to the fracking site, which is going to have an environmental impact. Other possible risks include: - disposal of significant quantities of radioactive waste water - thousands of HGV movements for every frack - noise pollution - risk to local wildlife and our beautiful villages and surrounding countryside - It is understood that house prices may also be negatively affected in a fracked area. Whichever way we all vote, we want the elected MP to pledge to proactively fight fracking in this area, for the sake of the people who live here.

Wensum Lodge was once well-known as a thriving Norfolk County Council-run arts hub for the Eastern region. It is still the only place in the region, and certainly in Norwich, to offer accredited qualifications in many of the creative courses run there. These are all due to be cut in September 2017, with only 3 months notice. The recent numerous managerial staff changes and funding squeezes have caused problems at the Lodge, which might be ameliorated were they able to attract more paying students - something which they can do if their online presence and communications strategy improved, and if they continued along the accreditation route. Current students enrolled on courses at Wensum Lodge are often making career changes, or are developing skills in the creative industries which they then plan to use to undertake freelance work - all of which add to the creative life of the city. The value of hosting accredited courses is significant: they are instrumental in training individuals that have allowed our region to develop a strong reputation for the creative arts, and they facilitate the development of careers in those areas. This makes a positive impact on multiple levels: for the creative economy of the area - financial and reputational, not to mention the mental health of students taking these courses. Cutting courses that are poorly advertised and administered makes very little sense when the courses themselves are highly subscribed. On a practical level, some classes could be relocated to more appropriate providers, but the arts courses that are offered cannot. For example, the nearest places offering accredited Ceramics courses were in London, and then almost exclusively in the northwest of the UK. What Wensum Lodge should be doing is investing in publicity and learning support networks (computing, and online presence, amongst other things) in order to encourage more paying students rather than cutting classes that are popular and a valid part of the Eastern region's creative artistic ecosystem.

There is no firm recognition within the majority of the psychiatric establishment within the NHS of the existence of Dissociative identity disorder. Many sufferers are brushed aside & accused of being liars & are often accused of fabricating the symptoms. People with DID need to be recognised & supported within our community.

This is an international problem, which met with an international solution - and Britain must join the international condemnation of America's terrible, selfish decision. We do not want to live in a world dominated by bullies. We do not want to live in a Britain too scared to do anything America doesn't want. We demand leadership that makes us proud to be British. If Theresa May cannot condemn America's decision to condemn our planet, will she ever stand up for anything? British people stand up for others, and we stand up for what we believe in. We do not want a Prime Minister who licks the boots of the American president. Theresa May must show strong leadership and sign the international letter condemning Donald Trump and his abandonment of the Paris agreement.

This clinic provides an essential co-ordinated approach for all sorts of vulnerable people with mental health needs. Appointments can be arranged in less than a day, with someone who is having a crisis with health professionals such as Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental health Nurses, G.Ps and Dietitians. Services are being transferred to St.Ann's Hospital but most professionals will now be scattered all over the borough making full co-ordinated treatment impossible. Also, most clients are very vulnerable and extremely intimidated by going to a hospital like St.Ann's. Community treatment should be just that, provided in the community. A lot of people will have appointments few and far between and some will be too scared to go. Please help us to stop this closure. They are only doing this to sell the building and making a mere £2 million pounds. My family member is among those affected. A person who got to Cambridge University through sheer determination from an ordinary comprehensive school. A very young teenager was forced to leave by an uncaring head of department at Cambridge because she was suffering from all sorts of anxieties. No offer of help was made. This experience led to a full mental break down. She faced having no future until this clinic stepped in and helped her with their specialised treatment. However, if the closure goes ahead, she cannot face going to St.Ann's and her condition will deteriorate as a result. I would be so grateful if you could sign this petition. The government are only closing it to save the NHS a tiny amount. It will back fire because the chaos that will be created will cost them millions. Thank you so much.

Dementia is the single biggest killer for people over 60, taxing people with this horrible disease is absurd. This condition is futile and people should not be punished for a condition they are unable to control.
