  • Stop the deportation of Refugees & Asylum seekers from Greece and back to Turkey
These vulnerable people have had to abandon their homes in countries ravaged by wars and the rule of oppressive organisations that have shown little regard to human rights. These people are escaping from those who have readily committed crimes against humanity. They have paid dearly with money and many lost their lives to get this far( Greece). They must not be sent to Turkey, where there's nothing for them but certain slow death. Please SIGN to stop this totally inhumane act , especially against the children and the elderly

  • Don't cut vital support for disabled people in East Worthing and Shoreham-by-sea
George Osborne has announced plans to take £70 a week away from thousands of people with disabilities, by cutting Personal Independence Payments (PIP). For many of us, this will mean losing the crucial support which enables us to get out of the house. Many people in our area would be hit hard by this cut. This petition calls on our local MP to do all they can to stop this cruel and unfair plan. Please, show your support for local people with disabilities and help stop the cuts to PIP.

  • FBI vs Apple for Human Beings
I'm not a terrorist, my wife is not a terrorist, my kids are not terrorists nor are my neighbours terrorists. However, I do not want government to be able to access my personal information on my device, in the cloud or where ever and whenever they like. If you think that they will require a judges decree to access your data, think again. 1984 comes to mind, they work for us, they must listen to us. Go away, leave us alone and stop perpetuating war and devastation around the world!

  • AFFIRMATIVE PROTECTIONS FOR DISABLED PEOPLE IN THE NEW BRITISH BILL OF RIGHTS
In the past, whenever there have been protections for disabled people they have been implied and found to be able to be "short-circuited". The disabled people of the United Kingdom need to be sure of their protection against abuses of the State and its Agents or Contractors, but no longer to be considered as an implicit part of any decision as we can never be truly equal no matter how hard we try or how much society adapts to our existence. Express Affirmative Protection is absolutely vital!

Fatima Naoot's case should never have made it to court. It suggests the state is turning a blind eye to the advocates of religious extremism. As for the nature of the religious festival Fatima criticized - I won't upset you with the details.
