• Bring back the climate change department
By removing the climate change department it is essentially sending a message that says the conservative part don't care about climate change. Theresa May has selected a cabinet that could be detrimental to the environment. The conservatives, in their election promises, promised a greener government. We now have Boris Johnson, a climate change denier, Andrea Leadsom in charge of energy; who had to ask if climate change was real and a team of people just as likely to care little for the environment. Climate change matters to everyone whether left wing or right wing. It is your future, your children's future. • Gloucestershire MPs support proportional representation
At the 2015 general election the results were incredibly disproportionate and demonstrated the inability of first-past-the-post to adequately or legitimately represent the diverse range of political opinion in the UK. Whatever party you support, if you care about preserving our democratic society you will agree that FPTP is a redundant system. The current government leads on a mandate of just 36% of voters, the SNP are vastly overrepresented in Scotland whilst the Greens and UKIP received just 2 MPs between them, despite receiving almost 5m votes. This creates artificial divides and doesn't reflect what people really want. It's time for our MPs in Gloucestershire to speak up for democracy and let our voices be heard in Westminster.

  • Climate Change Department Abolished
This issue affects us all, our families and our futures. We ignor this at our peril. There are massive research and manufacturing opportunities in industries associated with climate change and the U.K. could still be a world leader in wave technologies and other such areas, if prioritiesed, subsidised and invested in.

  • Keep Island Line in South Western Rail Franchise
This is a vital rail line which serves both residents and tourists. I am a member of Lake Townswomen's Guild and a lot of our members rely on the train to get to the mainland to visit family and for hospital visits. Neither my husband or I drive so are reliant on public transport. It is also used by commuters to the mainland.

  • Extend the Payment Deadline for Registered Labour Supporters
We understand that £25 is a fee that better enables the Party to cover its costs. However, the scale of the increase paired with the unexpectedly short deadline has inadvertently closed this option for the least fortunate in our society, whom the Labour Party exists to defend. An extension until 8 August gives: - People an additional two weeks in which to save the money - Assurance that those receiving Jobseekers' Allowance or other statuary benefits will have received at least one payment before the deadline - An increased likelihood that those on a contract of unfixed hours will have had undertaken paid work before the deadline - The ability for people to wait until after the end of the month, a common payday throughout the UK - More time to adjust personal budgets to better account for the expense We call on the Labour Party to assist with minimising the impact of poverty on this democratic process whilst still ensuring it is in a position to cover the costs of running the Registered Supporter scheme.

  • Motor insurance scam
Solicitors are "encouraging" motorists to falsely claim for personal injury thus increasing motor insurance policies. Having informed my insurance company I was NOT injured in an accident, to-date I have received calls from four different solicitors "encouraging" me to falsely claim for personal injury. A week after the accident the other driver involved in the accident angrily stopped me and said he had been contacted by a solicitor who told him I had made a personal injury claim and he should do the same thing.

  • Discrimination at Border Force against foreign same sex partner of an UK Resident.
This is important due to it happening on his first visit after the BREXIT and is a sign of which way the government will go in the future. It should not become acceptable that the government applies arbitrary decisions in this great country of law and freedom. Today they start with gays from not white men country's, tomorrow we don't want to imagine how far this government will go.

  • Give Harry and Hoddle the England Job
We all know Hoddle did the business at first, but the press got their claws into him and even the mighty Mourinho had a flap when the media attacked. He doesn't handle the stress of the media well but this doesn't stop him being a tactical genius and doesn't take away any of the international experience he has as both a player and manager. Remit: Tactics, Training, Coaching, Growth, Selection Advice. Harry is cream of the English crop of motivation. Look what he did with Bournemouth, West Ham and Pompey. He wasn't too shabby at spurs either, but his head was turned because there was only one job in the world he wanted more; this one. But we should keep him away from it, because he actually wants it, right? His tactics are questioned by many, (as a season ticket holder at pompey who has watched dross for 25/30 seasons I actually disagree here), but there is no one better at making a player believe in themselves with English footballing blood in the veins than Harry Redknapp. He's also pretty good at getting squads to focus on creating chances... something we were pitiful at in France. Remit: Team Talks, Press Conferences, TV Interviews, Creating Chances and Scoring Goals, Selection Advice. The FA probably won't listen to us, but this is our chance to tell them that we don't mind how much Hoddle loves God or Harry loves a morning raid. If they're the best we've got, we don't care about their corporate image rights, give them the damn job and if they win something, you'll all earn more in advertising anyway. P.S. I'm guessing a few QPR fans and other Pompey fans might disagree with this, but without agents, wages and dodgy owners mixing the muddy waters, I think we'd get the best out of them)
