• Put same restrictions on e-cigarettes as regular tobacco.
The recent findings on 'popcorn lung', a condition that I understand is irreversible (unlike the effects of tobacco smoke which are reversible) would suggest to any responsible person that these products should not be allowed to be used in public or around children. Is it fair to expect children to be sat in cars breathing in this poison when it's doing irreversible damage to their young and tiny, developing bodies. Please make this happen. It's the only responsible thing to do, for our childrens sake.

  • Ban Dangerous Pesticides in parks and land managed by or on behalf of Sefton Council.
The use of glyphosates has already been banned or restricted in 8 countries. It is not acceptable that ourselves, our children and the animals we share our community with are being routinely exposed to these chemicals whether we like it or not. This is a matter of great importance for those of us who care about each other's health and the health of our children, our cats, our dogs and all the flora and fauna of this city, of course including our beloved bees. • AFTER EFFECTS OF STATIN'S
I am a 76 year old was born with club feet and my last operation was in 1954. I was very grateful to the NHS, for I never had any trouble ALL my working life, as a HGV Class ! driver. Two year's ( at 74 ago I had to visit the doctor for a well person check up. I was told that my Cholesterol was High 6.7 and that I must go on Statin's, which of course I did , after 3 month's I could hardly walk and the muscle's in my legs started to disappear, the answer I got from my doctor was "ALL TABLET'S HAVE SIDE EFFECTS ". Over the last two years I must have cost the NHS a fortune , but they all have the same answer Oh No it's cant be statins because everything goes back to normal when you STOP taking them. That's rubbish for they have ruined the nerves in my feet, Handling my feet is not a problem, but WALKING is a different , I now have to use a arm stick, so now I have knee and back problem's trying to lean against the sore feet.

  • Bar Nigel Farage from all Greene King pubs
Whether by accident or design, Nigel Farage has become strongly linked to Greene King IPA. Pubs quite rightly bar some people for their unpleasant or offensive behaviour that upsets decent, well-behaved customers. I'm sure that I and many others were deeply offended and embarrassed by Nigel Farage's recent speech in the European Parliament and would not want to drink in any of your pubs if he were there. Please make Greene King pubs a safe space for decent people

  • Negotiate new trade agreements with non-EU countries
Less than half our exports of goods and services go to the E.U. - and the proportion has been falling since 2008. We need to secure and improve our trading relations with non-E.U countries to boost exports to them in order to rebalance and stabilise our economy. Obviously negotiations over exports to the E.U will take time but trade agreements between the UK and individual non-E.U countries may be achieved may swiftly.

  • referendum on Trident
The SNP, Scottish Labour and The Greens are opposed to the renewal of trident and much of the population of the UK is in agreement. We have seen from the Eu referendum that the constituency nations of the UK differ in opinion on important matters. This is one of the most important issues facing us today.

  • Stop the TPP and TISA entering the UK by the back door
The TPP and TISA will give multinational companies powers which are above the Law. Many people voted to get out of Europe because they agreed with Labour veteran Tony Benn and wanted to stop this agreement in its tracks. There has been very little media coverage of agreements like this which gives corporate entities huge legal powers. Open and honest discussion is essential and long overdue.

  • Rename Anti depressants (MOOD ENHANCERS)
Such a stigma associated with the words anti depressants making people with mental health issues reluctant to talk about their issues Saying I am taking mood enhancers is so much more socially acceptable and easier to say to people, the words I am taking anti depressants make people think you are some kind of nut job and in my experience people tend to keep their distance from you or avoid interaction with you all together which only exasperates the situation.

  • Ban fracking in Scotland - NOW
Fracking affects us all - Scotland is beautiful, its our greatest asset and fracturing the earth to obtain natural gas will lead to multiple issues affecting peoples everyday lives. Our water table is at risk, fracking involves drilling and injecting water, sand and chemicals hundreds of feet into the earth. This results in contamination of deep water sources. Climate change, because fracking can seriously damage the water supply, then the whole cycle of water in the environment is affected, this may lead to drought increase. Peoples Health is affected, methane gas in the air, chemical pollutants in the water. There are cancer concerns in areas where fracking has been prevalent. Property affected negatively in fracking areas, insurance companies refusing to insure buildings. Smell of gas in the air. Noise of drilling especially in rural and semi rural areas, affecting quality of life for humans and animals alike. Jobs promised - far fewer jobs than promised Cheap gas - evidence suggests this is not the case There are many more reasons, but let's stop it happening here. Let's stop big business and cronyism benefiting at our expense, stop them by-passing planning and environmental laws to suit their own ends. Stop them ruining our fantastic country. Sign this petition and urge Scottish Government to ban fracking NOW.

  • 3 Steps to a Democratic Brexit
Submission of the Article 50 Notice will start an irreversible process that will have profound consequences for decades to come. The electorate must have an opportunity to give their informed consent, so the Prime Minister, Parliament, and the public, can be be confident that this momentous step has the full backing of the British people.

  • Stuart Pearce needs to be the next England manager
Not withstanding those images from Euro 96, Stuart Pearce had shown his ability to manage the England under 21 side in the past to success, (and thus knows their potential, there were others he nurtured but were left out of the current side by the former manager). Pearce was the interim manager before Roy Hodgson and so is aware of the pitfalls with this role. England and those fans from other countries loved the attack and strong minded defence of those halcyon days of English game, and not the "at all costs do not lose -a draw is ok" ..Place Pearce at the helm... and watch us roar again.

  • UKIP MEP'S: Donate EU salary to the NHS
Although not part of the official campaign, Nigel Farage and UKIP did nothing to dispel the claim that we could give £350 million a week to our NHS. Already however, it has come to light that this is unrealistic, which has led many voters to feel they were misled by those who promoted Leave. Although it is not much, it is better than nothing. MEP's earn around €96,000 per year. Although the UK has voted to leave the European Union, until Article 50 is triggered (which as it looks now, could take some time), the UK will still send MEP's to European Parliament. Having campaigned as they have for the UK to leave, and against the European Union, it no longer seems fair they still take their approximate €96,000 yearly salary, plus expenses. Either they should stop claiming EU money, or it should be put to better use. We are asking them to give it to the NHS as a gesture of how committed they are to improving the service.
