Commission a sculpture of Dame Vera LynnThe publicly seen sculpture ‘population’ of this country needs a radical overhaul. We need many more sculptures of women who have made their mark and left a legacy of hope and kindness. In Dame Vera’s recent speech to remember the 75th anniversary of D-Day and with the COVID-19 pandemic in mind she said that the key to getting through any crisis is 'to come together to help one another and be kind'.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Woodies Devon

Erect a statue of Shirley Bassey in CardiffRecent events have made people more aware of our history and what figures we honour and celebrate with statues and monuments. Shirley Bassey is someone who came from humble beginnings in the old Tiger Bay of Cardiff who went on to achieve great success while still remembering her Cardiff/Welsh roots. Something permanent in the Welsh capital in honour of her would be a refreshing addition to the usual monuments and statues that we see of male aristocrats and landowners.55 of 100 SignaturesCreated by William Thomas

Create more all weather paths in Elmfield ParkThis is important to encourage cycling and walking in our local area, particularly as the park is used a lot for travel to and from local schools. In the winter, the park gets very muddy. If there was a path all the way around, this could also make the park more accessible for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs.30 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Alison Samways

Parades For Our NHS And Key Worker HeroesAcross Britain, our NHS and key workers have been working day and night to save lives and keep our country's heart beating. We are asking for the government to support us as we arrange a series of nationwide parades, when it's safe to do so, in as many towns and cities as possible. We will parade through town centres and later gather in parks to celebrate those who have looked after so many of the people we love. Please sign this petition, follow us at https://facebook.com/ParadeForHeroes and sign up to volunteer at https://paradeforheroes.com.73 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mark Thomas

Save BBC 4BBC 4 has valuable, sensible, intelligent and interesting documentaries, with 'grown up' subjects, which are well presented. It also has excellent dramas. If, like me, you are elderly, then subtitles are essential and these could not be provided if BBC 4 were to be moved to small screens used by younger people. With an ageing population, account must be given to the more senior members of society.104 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Sarah Padwick

national monument for coronavirus staff on front line who have diedThe Government has used warlike terminology throughout this crisis and should now do what it would do after a violent war by remembering all those who gave their lives for their fellow citizens, and holding a rememberance service once a year like the one we currently have at the Cenotaph.59 of 100 SignaturesCreated by angela schultz

Add a Food Bank Donate Button to Supermarket OrdersWith Food Banks being so vitally needed at the moment and with the huge increase in online supermarket orders adding a donation field seems a good way to raise loads of money. I used to drop a few items in the food bank baskets when shopping but as I am now not actually going to the supermarket I don’t have this option, I have donated money directly Food Banks but think the Donate button would encourage more people to do so easily.94 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Linda Day

COVID-19 NHS MEMORIALS: Waive the 10 Year Principle for Monuments in WestminsterAs it stands over 110 NHS workers have lost their lives to the coronavirus disease, putting themselves in harms way on the front-line to treat sufferers of COVID-19. The war against COVID-19 is primarily fought by the many health workers up and down the country and they should be recognised as soldiers of war under these circumstance. Those NHS workers who have lost their lives to this war on coronavirus must be commemorated and remembered in a Westminster monument before the year 2030.58 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gracious Alma - GA Events
