Reinstate Hibbert Elders Heating & Lighting Core fundingWe, the ZADA elders, have been members of, and attending functions including our own coffee mornings at Hibbert Community Centre for many years now. All voluntary groups that use the centre raise their own funds for all their various youth and community activities. The only thing that we have relied on from Bolton Council since 1997 is our core costs which go towards heating, lighting and insurance costs. In late 2016, Bolton Council decided that it would stop funding these basic costs for our thriving community centre based in one of the most deprived areas in Britain. As a result, it is making it harder for our elderly members to attend as frequently as they did given how the cold disproportionately affects the elderly and taking away a vital lifeline to challenge loneliness. Outside of summer, gloves and hats have had to be worn and this makes it harder to participate for so many.54 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ibrahim Patel

Assist Japan In Solving the Fukushima CrisisThe continuous spread of radiation from the destroyed nuclear plants at Fukushima will not only affect those who live locally, but also many countries with coastlines on the Pacific Ocean and to a lesser degree the whole world. Therefore it is not just in the interests of the Japanese Government and TEPCO to solve the crisis, but the whole international community. On March 11th 2011 a tsunami knocked out the generators of the cooling systems of the Daiichi Nuclear power plant, resulting in explosions and three meltdowns of the reactor cores. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukushima_Daiichi_nuclear_disaster14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Chris Young

End litteringIf all packaging had to be collected back by the companies selling products littering would be a thing of the past. Companies would automatically reduce packaging to a minimum and make sure they can reuse or recycle. Also everyone would be rewarded by returning packaging and getting their deposit back. This would also save millions for local councils on litter picking and landfill10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Peter Bartholomew

Recognise PCS Union at National Museums Liverpool Trading CieWorkplaces that recognise unions tends to have better levels of pay, happiness and do provide better services to their users. National Museums Liverpool is a public service and should not be exploiting its workers, many of them only earning just about the minimum wage. Many employees of the NML Trading company are local young people and they deserve as much respect as their colleagues employed directly by the museums. As NMLT is fully owned by the museums, museum bosses should not pretend they cannot act or ensure better standards. Yes there have been budget cuts for museums but surely union recognition would not cost a penny and if workers were getting the real Living Wage and decent hours of work, they would be spending their wages in the local economy and not having to consider claiming benefits.318 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Clara Paillard

Make Land of Hope and Glory Englands National anthemEngland is one nations of the home nations. God save the Queen applies to all nations under the United Kingdom. It seems strange that the other nations should have to sing two anthems. When we compete as team GB/ British Lions etc then God save the Queen is appropriate. When competing as England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland it is not.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kevin Ridgeon

Stop The Rot CarlisleResidents of Carlisle take great pride in their city yet feel exasperated by the decades that buildings are left to rot without the council taking any action. They're an eyesore that damages trade, deters local investment, are a poor advert for the city to tourists and make the city feel and look unloved. Many of these buildings may also be a hazard to the public walking past them as they have not been maintained for decades.36 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Evans

Commercial TV companies must pay public sector organisations for their involvement in documentariesThe commercial TV companies have it made, no studio, no actors/actresses, low overheads etc. It is frustrating that the public are having to fundraise for the NHS when there is an obvious pot of money which can be gained from a small change in the law. These services are overstretched, the staff are overworked and they are struggling with a lack of funding. Please remember that we the national insurance and tax payers are paying for the services above that commercial TV programmes are being made out of, with the commercial TV companies for far too long being allowed to make such huge profits out of national insurance and tax payer funded services. EVIDENCE/RESEARCH THE INFORMATION BELOW HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS AND SIMILARLY IS STILL GOING ON TODAY, (Investigation over the period of one week sat 6th January- Friday 12th January 2018 more than 103 hours of TV footage was shown of the police over various commercial Freeview channels, and over 29 hours of footage featuring the NHS. This equated to over 24 hours of advertising revenue (YES ADVERTS!) during the police programmes and over 6.7 hours of advertising (YES ADVERTS!) during the NHS programmes). This is a typical example of just one week of the year, and similar will be happening every week which would equate to 1257.7 hours of advertising (YES ADVERTS!) during police programmes and 351.8 hours of advertising (YES ADVERTS!) during the NHS programmes per year. As you can see the amount of advertising (YES ADVERTS!) revenue the emergency services could be taking advantage of is huge, even if they only had a small percentage of the profits from advertising alone it would make a huge contribution towards their funding. I.E.
