Save The Iron HorseCoplan Estates Ltd in co-operation with Bexley Council have announced plans to build 136 flats directly next to and above The Iron Horse in Sidcup, claiming the venue will not be affected. Nearly half of all live music venues in London have closed down in the last ten years, mainly due to flats being developed next to them and new neighbours complaining about noise that has been there for years before them. The Iron Horse has been a secure hub for the ever-expanding local live music scene in Sidcup since it reopened three years ago, providing a platform for new musicians to learn and develop their craft in front of an audience and also for professionals to put on shows and earn their living, in the rarity of supportive management and welcoming locals who are truly passionate about the scene. It is vital to the local community as the area's only designated live music venue. If these plans are to be approved, these developers will make a profit out of robbing the town of an evergrowing scene of arts and culture - which is attracting people to our town way more than another block of flats would.1,222 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Tom Monks

Save the Hope & AnchorThis pub has been trading since 1892 and so it has huge historical reference in Pontefract and is shadowed by Pontefract Castle. The pub is loved throughout the community and is beginning to become a hive of music activity drawing bands from far and wide as well as catering for our talented local musicians. It is the home of Pontefract Scooter Club, who regularly host events to raise money for local charities such as The Prince of Wales Hospice and The Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The Hope & Anchor is an integral part of the community and we should be saving these historical institutions not turning them into offices etc907 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Dave Hallaways

Find us a place to park our bus so we can end the need for rough sleeping in DorsetWe are a registered charity. We have converted a bus to accomodate rough sleepers in Weymouth. We have fundraised ourselves and will continue to do so to ensure the running of the bus. We have skilled, experienced and trained volunteers to run the bus. We have the support of the Police and many other local outreach and recovery services. All we need is somewhere to park! Weymouth and Portland borough Council have been unwilling to support us in finding a suitable location through Management committee, so we are presenting it to Full Council. Protect the existing Green Belt within Dudley Metropolitan Borough1) To protect Green Belt Countryside, on the urban fringe, and Green Wedges that form wildlife and open space corridors into the urban areas. 2) To protect a valuable recreational resource that Dudley Council have hitherto promoted for public pleasure; its landscape, historic, nature conservation and cultural values. 3) To protect the individuality and distinctive character of the areas and communities 4) To further the strategy of urban regeneration by focussing attention upon renewal of derelict and previously developed brownfield sites. 5) Dudley Borough has sufficient land within the urban area to satisfy its housing and industrial requirements to the year 2036 and beyond. 6) The Green Wedges satisfy the function of preventing the coalescence of former Towns within the Borough. 7) Exceptional circumstances do not exist to warrant the release of Green Belt land for built development. 8) The inappropriate release of Green Belt land would damage the confidence of the public in respect of the designation of Green Belt.4,320 of 5,000 SignaturesCreated by Mick Freer

Protect our community in Thornton Heathhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4774564/Boy-15-second-teen-stabbed-death-London-one-day.html Croydon Council secured a £2.8 million investment for Thornton Heath's regeneration scheme which should have extended to Green Lane also. Too many young lives have been taken away due to violent, senseless crimes. More recently in the local area, Jermaine Goupall (age 15) was killed and his untimely death has shocked the neighbourhood. The justice system has no foundation due to lack of evidence to support his murder enquiry. We ask that: 1)There is a greater visible police presence in the local areas 2) permanent CCTV camera`s along Green lane, the parade & surrounding side streets1,453 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by STANLEY GOUPALL

Change the name of Latimer Road station to GrenfellThe fire at Grenfell tower saw a tragic loss of life, innocent people dying in the most horrific of circumstances. I propose that Latimer Road Underground Station should be renamed in honour of those that have suffered, and to the lessons we must take forward. A permanent renaming would see future generations being aware of the history of the area. London has Monument station which is a testament to those that died in the great fire of London of 1666, an event that shook the city to its core. The current name of Latimer Road is misleading. Latimer Road is located 5 minutes from where the station is, I therefore see no reason why such a change could not come about. The shell Grenfell Tower is located 100m from the station, the train line passes by it . We should not try to block out the horrors but look forward and work together. Efforts are on going to safeguard our families at this time but we must be wise to our choices and make the world a safer place. The renaming to Grenfell would give some permanence those that died in the fire.1,536 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Rory Guinness

Do not renew Geoffrey Boycott's employment contract for his recent racist commentWe need to challenge casual racism, especially from respected figures, such as Geoffrey Boycott. Such attempts at humour, no matter where the offence takes place, undermine efforts to create a more equal society, in which respect is due to all. The BBC should apply its equality policies consistently, irrespective of how long a person has worked for them. The Black and White Minstrel Show, in which white performers appeared with blacked out faces, ended in 1978, because it was felt to be offensive and inconsistent with British values then. The BBC Code of Conduct states in Part 1.3 Treating everyone equally "We don’t tolerate discrimination of any kind, and we speak up when we see it. We’ll take disciplinary action against anyone who crosses the line, including firing them for gross misconduct, if it’s serious."26 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Denise Robson
