Keep our communities moving!I stand with all those charities and community groups that provide transport for a social purpose and community benefit. They enable people to live, learn and work independently, to stay fit and active, to access vital public services and participate in their community. This type of transport provision is Britain at its best with communities doing things for themselves and it must be cherished, protected and nurtured. I want the UK Government to work with its counterparts in the devolved nations to commit themselves to making sure that nobody suffers as a result of its proposed changes operator and driver licensing. I want them to commit to fully understanding the impact of their proposed changes so they can decide whether all this upheaval is worth it and choose another path or decide how they can support those communities most affected, especially our most vulnerable and isolated citizens.5,289 of 6,000 SignaturesCreated by Charlotte Hughes

Shifnal Town Centre - RevampShifnal has seen unsustainable and disproportionate housing development over the past few years, putting a huge strain on a range of public services.. Transport infrastructure , Health care services , Education access and many other services are woefully under funded in Shifnal .. The local town council now plans to spend the majority of the CIL funding on a shared spaces enhancement plan, putting the public at risk.. These schemes have failed and seen numerous fatalities..This vital funding is desperately needed elsewhere.. Approximately 2.28% of Shifnal residents ( 171 people ) out of a population nearly at 7500 people voted for this.. Change is needed , but committing so much to serve so few is unacceptable.. This scheme was not approved by your elected officials , yet still continues ? Please sign this petition and ensure our local councils come up with intelligent, viable alternatives that will benefit ALL of our community...196 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Lee Hubbard

Save Coatbridge DWP officeThe proposed closure of the office means relocating 250 staff outwith Coatbridge. The closure of the office will have a crushing affect of Coatbridge Main Street and other small businesses within the area. Over 50% of the staff within the office are on alternative working patterns such as school term time or compressed working days; to suit family life within the area. Staff relocation's are currently planned between September & November. The closure of this office is part of the conservatives centralization plans to remove hundreds of government offices out of small towns and place them within large hubs in cities. Keep the Health Visitor at Tupton TiddlersMany people who come to Tupton Tiddlers either can't or don't want to go to other Baby clinics because they are either too far for them to travel or feel uncomfortable going somewhere that they won't know anyone. Having the health Visitor here helps parents and carers get out of the house to meet others and form friendships when they feel isolated. It also makes sure that more people can make sure that everything is alright with their children and give them any help they need.36 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Hannah Morris

Request an independent review of how the BBC portrays the Welsh language. This petition was originally launched in August 2017 on the day the Welsh Government published a white paper on the future of the Welsh language BBC's flagship current affairs programme Newsnight posed the question "is the Welsh language a help or hindrance to the nation ", this was followed up in an item where the presenter suggested the Welsh language was a hobby and invited a contribution from an individual with a long track record of trolling the Welsh language. Since then there have been a number of instances where the Welsh language has received negative coverage on the BBC, with an episode of Have I Got News For You broadcast in Friday, the 30th of April, mocking the language in the name of comedy. A review would enable the preparation of a documented audit of all items relating to the Welsh language and would be able to establish if indeed there is an issue with regards how the Welsh language is portrayed and to assess what editorial systems are in place to ensure editorial fairness.8,622 of 9,000 SignaturesCreated by Huw Marshall

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL 47 BUS ROUTEBecause it allows transport to and from rural areas into the city center for those who perhaps have no other means of transport. This is an important issue due to the fact that many school children who lived slightly out of catchment areas used this bus service to travel to and from school; now these children are forced to be up earlier to walk to a place where they can catch one of the school provided bus services. People of an older generation who are unable to drive were able to use the old 47 service to travel to other villages or into the city, whereas now they have no other way of doing so without in some cases needing to pay taxi fares or relying on friends or relatives who drive. In particular I find it rather disgusting that the Nottingham City Transport did not advertise the cuts to the 47 services enough - because my daughter who at the time was just 15 years old, got on the 47 bus from Lambley to go to a friends in Calverton was told to get off of the bus in Woodborough because this was where the route terminated now. My daughter was left stranded and was forced to get a taxi instead. Overall this is an important matter because the points previously made.114 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Lindsay Selby

Diana Princess of Wales HospitalAlready the stroke services, and now the urology department from Diana Princess of Wales Hospital is being moved to Scunthorpe General Hospital. But for those of us that rely on our local hospital it's much too far to travel. Many of us who don't drive are left out on a limb, and find it really hard to travel to other Hospitals. It is very important because if nobody says anything, we could see this hospital closing altogether.94 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Anne Squire

Reform grave personalisation regulationsFamilies across the borough have been sent letters over the last few years demanding that they remove small items, such as toys and small wind-chimes, from grave plots. This is owing to their being apparently "inappropriate" and a "nuisance". We urge the council to review these regulations and allow these harmless and peaceful mementos to remain on individuals' graves, giving families a sombre and personal place to remember their loved ones.392 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Lewis Hancock
