The Bill if enacted would effectively repeal the Health and Social Care Act 2012, once again make the Secretary of State for Health responsible to Parliament for the NHS, properly fund it from general taxation and end the rush for privatisation inherent in that Act. We can expect Conservative MPs with big majorities to side with the government, but many of them with small majorities may well abstain. Labour and SNP MPs could join forces to make sure the Bill goes forward. For Labour MPs in particular, this will show whether or not they truly want the 1948 NHS to be fully restored.

I have have suffered prostate cancer and had a prostatectomy. The issue was highlighted following a blood test for PSA. I had no symptoms, don't smoke or drink and keep fit. It was the my manager who encouraged me to go for a test following a friend suffering the disease. Had I not had the test I would now be in the advanced stages of cancer and do not know how long I would have to live. Further to this I know of three other men with the same story.

To much privatisation is happening to the NHS .. 70 MPs and 140 Lords have some sort of investment or involvement with private healthcare companies that we know of ..I believe that giving them a vote on NHS issues brings to mind a conflict of interest

Over the past year I have witnessed first hand the devastating effect that cancer has on anybody affected, not only on the patient but also on family and friends. In the last few days of my dad's precious life, the care he received from the angels at Manorlands Hospice was second to none. This care also extends to family and friends who are affected, and is proving to a necessity as the numbers of people affected by this cruel disease continues to rise. I find it appauling that these vital services are relying heavily on fund raising events in order to keep going. When so much money is being wasted in other areas, or worse still not collected in tax, the people who suffer most are those who are already in an intolerable amount of pain. For this reason, I believe that more should be done to fund the vital services provided by hospices, both in care and in cancer research.

The last thing people need to worry about when attending a hospital emergency or appointment is if they can pay for parking! Due to the current charges, parking in nearby streets is causing a danger to other road users and residents.

The walk in medical centres in Bury and Prestwich are under threat. A consultation is underway to look into whether or not they should be closed. We're asking the government to provide Bury with enough money to keep the centres open. If enough of us sign the petition to keep them open, health minister Jeremy Hunt might just have to listen. 67,752 of us use the centres every year, and closing them would put a real strain on other local services, like the A&E department. They alleviate A&E workload and serve the community well.

This hospital has been slowly 'run down' by the closure of two wards and now the CCG want to completely close it. This is part of a review of services provided in North Derbyshire which include the closure of other community hospitals. This review is titled '' Better Care Closer To Home'' , however many of us do not believe that the planned changes will work and that patients will receive a poorer service. The plans have been put to public consultation HOWEVER the CCG have NOT notified all households to publicise this as promised , hence many do not know of the proposed changes which include providing care in nursing homes and the patients own home. Meaning family will be involved in the care role, rather than a community hospital following discharge from the Royal Hospital. This hospital was built several years ago to support the local area, the building hosts all types of day clinics etc. One ward has been closed for a long time,and now the trust are looking to close down the other ward. In the past people have been discharged from the main hospital to here, one step closer to home. Its been well looked after and is very modern inside, plenty of free parking. The nearest Hospital is Calow which is 2 bus rides away, so it is vital to keep this hospital open for local people. A rusty, dangerous and abandoned skate park sits on the park. A BMX track would be a perfect project for this area. Making the park a place where people can ride/race BMX. This would give kids through to adults a new experience.With local success from Connor Williams racing BMX in the British BMX championship this year. A track would be recognised as a home track for him and others that race from Calverton for training and potentially racing. ​A BMX track would bring people from all around the midlands and the country to race. Also there is a lot of interest and support from other local residents saying this would be a great idea giving the younger generation something to do and keeping them off the streets. We feel this closure of our community care beds is detrimental to the well being and health of our aged population.Whilst we agree in theory to the strategy of 'My care,My way,home first',we have grave doubts as to the feasability to be able to achieve this safely with the current lack of community and social care provisions available.

Shotley Bridge Community Hospital serves tens of thousands of people in North West Durham The nearest main hospital is 13 to 14 miles away, and this regional facility, which was once a huge teaching hospital, though now reduced, to a shadow of its former operation is, nevertheless, a lifeline to many residents in this vast area of County Durham. The facility is very well used by people from all over the area, and acts as an overspill for the main hospitals within this North East area..The Facilities it offers include: Ophthalmic care, provided by the RVI in Newcastle. Audiology - X-Ray - Endoscopy & Colposcopy - Oncology - Diabetic - Podiatry - Physiotherapy - Day Surgery - Out of Hours - General out-Patient - and Minor injuries - Units and facilities are provided by University Hospital Durham and other Hospitals such as Darlington ...It would be too great a loss, for the people of this area, and to lose it, would engender great hardship for many!.. It would also increase waiting lists and times, in the main hospitals, which are already overstretched….The extra cost and burden, which would be imposed upon the health service, would most assuredly, prove to be cataclysmic!... It is up to all of us, to fight this purported closure... Indeed, for the sake of the sale, of a piece of land, on which a few houses would eventually be built!... The people of Dumfries and Galloway should be fully consulted and given the choice to name the hospital as this fits with the Scottish government strategy to empower communities and enable them to be more involved in the matters which are relevant to how the community is perceived. This is an important time and the hospital will reflect a new era in health and social care in the region
