Whilst we welcome the move to schedule CBD as a medicine following clinical trials, it must be understood that completely removing it from the market with only 28 days notice is not sufficient time for patients to find alternative ways of maintaining their health. CBD is well documented through clinical research to be non-toxic and non-psychoactive and has no recorded negative side effects in humans, as well as being a powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and anti-epilepsy drug. This move will lead to more vulnerable patients buying untested CBD products on the illicit market, potentially bringing them to more harm or falling prey to unscrupulous cannabis oil scammers as it is an expensive product. Thousands of patients with hundreds of medical conditions ranging from acute to life threatening rely on CBD as a safe and non-toxic form of medical and therapeutic treatment. Patients who are buying CBD products have conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Alzheimer’s, Crohn's Disease, Epilepsy, Fybromyalgia, Arthritis, Anxiety, Depression, Cancer, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Elhers Danlos Syndrome, and Chronic Pain. To many young lives are being lost as they not being listened to not enough money going into mental health we are all entitled to dignity and respect.. the family and friends of suicide victims are left to deal with this lose leaving the one's left behind... we find in familys who have lost loved one's there are more suicides in these familys... i have had issues with mental health all my days i am 62 the sytem has not moved on from i was young... if i cant get the help how do the young one's stand a chance for a future life

Bounty are a commercial organisation and have for too long been allowed free access on to the wards of maternity hospitals. They are allowed to walk on to the wards even during times when the patients familys and friends can't even be there. They are allowed to open curtains on wards and go into bedrooms regardless of how vulnerable these women and babies are. It's an imposition on women and babies on the wards and it's appalling that it has been just accepted as standard. No one should have this kind of access that isn't there on a medical basis. Please share your stories if you wish. Let's see just what a negative impact this is on pregnant and postnatal mothers and how much of an imposition this is on women and their birthing experience. The proposed closures will reduce the accessibility of much needed NHS services to our communities. It will put added strain on services that are already stretched. Journey times to accident and emergency units and special care baby units will be increased for some communities, putting lives at risk. There will be added strain on the ambulance service. All closures will reduce accessibility for families and friends who wish to visit their loved ones, particularly as many sites are not well served by public transport. There will be added strain on an already stretched infrastructure across the county. Mental health services are already under funded with a shortage of inpatient beds in Dorset Psychiatric Hospitals. People have been known to have been conveyed by Private Ambulances to Private Hospitals in various parts of the country- sometimes hundreds of miles from their home, family and/or support network. Dementia services are vital in supporting those living with the condition and their families to live as independently as possible. My mother died on 6th October of cancer. Instead of spending her last weeks in a hospice where her pain and nausea could be controlled and she could spend her days in peace she was in a crowded, noisy, stressful hospital ward being served unsuitable food she couldn't eat without vomiting and suffering pain. Last year MPs rejected the Assisted Dying Bill saying end of life care provision was good. They were wrong. Despite great compassion from the ward staff, my mother's last week was not a peaceful one because the local hospices are overstretched and could not offer her a bed in time. For the last seven weeks of her life she could not sleep because of the nightly shouting of patients who should have been in psychiatric or dimensia specialist care. This is not acceptable in the fifth richest country in the world. I ask MPs and the Departmenr of Health: is this how you would want to spend your last days?

We believe that hospital closures and mergers have a negative impact on services provided and patient care. This proposed merger will result in a reduction of staff, available appointments and operation availability. There will be no maternity provision on the Wirral at all. One hospital instead of three will result in fewer beds being available. We already know the problems experienced in these hospitals at times of high demand, and this will be further worsened. We believe that merging hospitals will reduce the number of staff required, impacting on areas already suffering from economic deprivation and high levels of unemployment and poverty. Increased risks of fatalities due to the transport problems frequently experienced in travelling on the major road routes from Wirral and Chester to Ellesmere Port. Increased travelling time and distance will make being sick or disabled even more of a financial hardship than it already is. Travel can already be problematic for people with numerous or frequent hospital appointments and this will again negatively impact on patients wellbeing.

Deer Park Medical Centre is a GP Practice providing an excellent service to a large number of people in West Witney due to close on the 3rd November 2016. It is currently being serviced under contact to Virgin Care. Whilst many of us do not agree with the privatisation of health services, Virgin are undoubtedly providing a good service. Whatever it takes to keep this practice open must be done. You cannot seriously consider allowing it to close. Other GP practices in Witney are already badly overstretched and waiting times for an appointment are often measured in weeks. This is not the case at Deer Park, I am a patient and have never had to wait more than days, also they operate walk in clinics for urgent cases. Please don't use the people of West Witney as political pawns in this dangerous game.

Please help keep open the highly thought of Moakes Medical Centre in Luton which risks being closed in the New Year. I know first-hand how vital it is to get quick appointments and have access to great doctors. If it wasn't for the quick actions of one of the doctors in this surgery, my husband might not be here now. She requested an urgent appointment at the hospital and within 2 weeks he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. 3 years on and he is still in remission. N.H.S. England and Luton Clinical Commissioning Group have taken the decision not to renew the contract for Moakes Medical Centre and are proposing to close the it in the New Year. This decision was taken in spite of positive reviews given in a patient consultation. Over the years many patients have built up a good relationship with the staff and the doctors, providing a first class service. This proposed closure will have a big impact on other surgeries in the local area, leading to longer waiting times for an appointment. Please can you to sign this petition to help me save this medical centre. Luton needs Moakes Medical Centre to stay open and continue to provide a great service to the community.

I feel this is important for children to know that talking about mental health is ok and isn't looked down on. Also to show them the signs of a mental health disorders, how to help people that are affected and to tell them who they can talk to if they feel they are affected.

Public transport is not reliable when staff work shifts as bus timetables are reduced and some staff are having to rely on buses and trains which can add up to 2 hours if not more on to an already busy working day when in some instances a car journey is only 30 minutes for the same destination. Staff are already under pressure to arrive at work on time without having to try and find a parking space. All we ask is that Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS continue to provide an off site car park for their staff to allow staff to travel to work in the knowledge they will be able to park their car safely and will have a parking space. The staff who already use the current off site car park are happy to walk the 10/15 minutes from the car park to the hospital and would be happy to continue to do this.

My son was diagnosed with Autism around 5 years ago, but not in Sefton. His diagnosis was received through one, locally commissioned NHS Trust, and looking back, the pathway to diagnosis was founded on clear, pre-determined steps that every child in the area followed. This process was well defined and simple, whilst meeting all clinical guidelines; resulting in my son receiving a diagnosis of autism within 6 months of referral. In comparison, my daughter is currently on the Autism Assessment Pathway in Sefton. As a parent, it quickly becomes clear that this process is inefficient, not fit for purpose, and very much based on an ad hoc, undefined approach. Across Sefton, it is well known that the result of this approach, is an average timespan of 4 years to diagnose a school aged child with autism, from the time of referral. Every step on the pathway, requires separate referrals, and it has been evidenced that overall, the waiting times for each appointment, are massively outside clinical guidelines. The results of this are catastrophic for everyone involved: The child who doesn't understand their own difficulties for example, and who is left untreated; the family who desperately need help to support their child and maintain equilibrium in the home; and interestingly, with the current system being so inefficient and time consuming, the financial implications and waste of public funds must be severe! In fact, the consequences of ignoring this cannot be underestimated, with further health issues arising, specifically from the stress and strain placed on children and families who are left powerless. Put simply, this MUST change with immediate effect, and Sefton's Autism Pathway brought in line with clinical guidelines at least. Simple, clearly defined steps, coming from a single referral for assessment, must be identified and put into practice. It is obvious to say, that decisions must now be made, that prioritise the health and wellbeing of children and families across Sefton. However, a clearer, unified pathway, would also bring the additional benefit, of a more cost effective approach that protects public funds.
