That Boris Johnson should resign over his comments about Nazanin Zachary-RatcliffeOut of sheer laziness Boris Johnson did not establish the facts but as a result has severely compromised the fate of Nazanin Zachary-Ratcliffe. He is not fit for office.20 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Andrewes

Stop sale of subsidised alcohol at WestminsterThe Committee has the stated aim of upholding the 7 principles of public life, which include selflessness, integrity and accountability - surely providing our public servants with easy access to alcohol whilst at their workplace, subsidised by the taxpayer is a flagrant misuse of our money which flies in the face of these aims. MPs are well paid and are expected to undertake their duties in a professional manner, this should never include the consumption of alcohol whilst at work, which would be considered by most of the working population to be highly unprofessional conduct. This issue becomes even more important in the context of the recent misconduct accusations being levelled at MPs and the possible implication that the consumption of alcohol could have been a factor in some cases.17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Debbie Brotherton

The age of an adult? If we allow the government and large companies to get away with this, what else will be changed to suit them. This is allowing them to get away with parents having to fork out billions in extra tax, with a lot of families in the UK currently in poverty, every little helps to ease the burden.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Natasha Lukins

Make Cardiff plastic straw free36.4 billion plastic straws are discarded in the EU annually damaging wildlife, water quality and entering our food chain. The Welsh government led the way on the plastic bag carrier charge, and we want them to do the same with single use plastic straws. Such a small change will make a huge impact on our environment and make Cardiff a greener, cleaner and more sustainable place to live.80 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nia Jones

Stop our MPs drinking alcohol in the Houses of ParliamentThere are several bars within the Houses of Parliment, should our MPs be debating and making decisions on our behalf if they have had an alcoholic drink? After all they are at work, studies show that even small amounts of alcohol can influence us negatively, we wouldn’t want our GP, pilot, or any other professional person serving us after being to a bar, so how is it any different for MPs?18 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Shelagh Pratt

Calling for a new UK bank holiday to celebrate under 25sAt The Mix, we know that under 25s are extremely talented, and care passionately about the world around them. We are privileged, through our work, to witness first-hand the strength and resilience of young people every day. It's important that as a society we embrace young people from all backgrounds, and nurture their potential as ultimately, they are the future of our country. Often the media narrative around young people can be very negative, focusing on crime, unemployment, or unattainable housing. We hope that a dedicated bank holiday will help to change the narrative around Generation Z into a positive one - STRONG and RESILIENT. In 2018, International Youth Day will come of age and celebrate its 18th anniversary. At The Mix we believe this anniversary is the perfect time to show our appreciation to the youngest members of our society. This petition is part of The Mix's #Stronger campaign, which aims to give under 25s the platform to tell their story and not be defined by mainstream media. Plastic reduction in supermarketsThe oceans are already choked with plastic and by 2050 , there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. This could mean starvation to many people and countries that depend on the ocean to survive. This is the sort of environment that breeds conflict and war, thus causing more pollution. I have 5 grandchildren who will be part of this polluted world along with billions of others. We have no need to worry about world war three, as pollution will eradicate the population before , if we don't take action now. If we target supermarkets like Asda, then we can pressurise them into making a difference.78 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nicholas Perry

Commit to a full move out of Westminster during renovations. To not move MPs and Lords out of Westminster would be a gross misuse of taxpayer finance at a time when the budget remains constrained. Not doing so would arbitrarily add 2 billion to the cost of renovations for no compelling reason. Additionally, the government should commit to the full scope of redevelopment of the palace of Westminster. Including the provisions for additional public, corporate and educational spaces listed on pages 73 and through 75 of the "Restoration and Renewal of the Palace of Westminster" report. Such provision would assist both in revenue and tourism as well as helping to educate people in the workings of our government and allow it to feel less removed. Save Our Music Venues in ManchesterWe all know the life and the soul of a city is its arts and culture. Equally as important is the opportunity for us to come together and spend time enjoying ourselves with other people. In a world dominated by smart phones and Netflix we need more reasons to leave our gaff, not less. We need to reverse this trend of destroying everything edgy and interesting about our city to build more beige flats for beige people. Save our city.29 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Thomas Barlow
