Keep access open from Waggon and Horses Lane onto Elm Hill, NorwichNorwich City Council is running an experiment to protect the house on Elm Hill from being scraped by high sided vans. The experiment closes the road at the join on Waggon and Horses Lane to Elm Hill. We are concerned about the safety of pedestrians on Elm Hill and Princes Street as further traffic will be pushed down this route. Also, vehicles reversing the length of Waggon and Horses Lane to make an exit on to Tombland, a busy bus route. Protection of the building is vital as is the safety of pedestrians. We feel a height restriction would be a better solution which would protect the particular building with less impact on the surrounding area.19 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rachel Allen

Cyclehoop Bikehangars for Kensal RiseI cycle to work every day but storing my bike is a real problem. I used to lock it up outside my flat until it was stolen. Now I store it in my back yard which means carrying it through the flat both rain and shine. There are many benefits to cycling - environmental, financial, health both physical and mental and just pure enjoyment. I know many more people would cycle but can’t due to: living in a flat - don't have outside space/shed have to carry your bike up/down stairs want to start cycling but can't buy a bike as have no-where to store it or don't have space for all your family's bikes I have been trying to campaign to get Cyclehoop Bikehangars https://www.cyclehoop.rentals/types/bikehangars in the local area. I have seen them in other boroughs and I think they are great. I know a lot of you expressed a desire for them and either requested one via Cyclehoop, emailed our Local Concillor Matt Kelcher [email protected] or e-mailed Brent Council https://www.cyclehoop.rentals/contact-council. However to keep up the pressure and ensure you get one where you desire can you please sign this petition and state in the reasons for signing box where you would like one to be sited.33 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Garvey

Stop cars speeding down Dallowie Road in Patna, East AyrshireHaving lost two cats in the last 16 weeks due to being hit by cars in this street, my worry is that maybe next time a child could be killed. Dallowie Road is a road which is regularly used especially by children and adults going to School and the local Doctor’s surgery plus also has access to the local shops. Dallowie road has a straight expanse and yet does not have any speed bumps installed which would help to slow drivers down. East Ayrshire Council, please take action and install speed bumps before someone is killed.165 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Fiona Blain

Re placement GatesGates have been erected at Maudland Road thru to Seymore Road, South Shore, Blackpool, it is understood the gates were for the security of the rear of St Heliers Road. The placement of the gates has restricted access to and from Bancroft park and the South Shore area as well as easier access to bus routes on Lytham Road and the main gate of Blackpool Gateway Academy. These inconveniences have had a detrimental effect on the residents of St Heliers Road, Saville Road, Maudland Road, Baron Road, Stansfield Street and Central Drive and beyond. The problems cover a range of issues, namely lowered security, health issues, traffic problems and the general wellbeing of the community. Repositioning the access to this walk way will allow access to Bancroft park and South Shore and improve the wellbeing of many of the residents.68 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Debby Godfrey-Brown

Inadequate Bus ServiceIt is important because I lose wages when a bus doesn't turn up and make me late for work.Having to get taxis after work when a bus doesn't turn up because there is an hour wait. I currently use the Arriva bus app which tracks buses. Even that clearly doesnt work properly. If a bus does break down how can they not let people know either on the website of even on social media. (Group of people run facebook page and their always there to help??? Not once have they helped. Its not hard to write about a bus breaking down and possible delays). I buy a weekly bus ticket every week but seems it's just a waste of money. I know plenty of you guys feel the same about arriva. Please sign to show them people power is stronger2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Rowley

SAVE OUR GUARDSThis is important because of health and safety issues - what if someone is having a heart attack on board and no guard to offer assistance, if the train is involved in an accident there needs to be a guard to asisst the driver etc,,,,etc,,,,etc Some fantastic news is my local parliamentarian Jeff Smith MP for Withington, Manchester is supporting this campaign, here is his message:- Dear Prince Frederick, Thank you for contacting me recently about increasing rail fares, service cuts, and staff reductions on the UK rail network. I believe that our railways are a vital public service and I agree that it is deeply concerning that rail fares increased 3.4% in January 2018. This staggering increase is the biggest fare rise in the last five years, and I am concerned that it is making rail travel unaffordable for many people. Pricing passengers off the railway threatens the sustainability of the network as a whole, and I believe the Government should cap rail fares with the consumer price index to provide clarity on pricing. As you are aware, the RMT has been campaigning against the expansion of Driver Only Operation (DOO) services and cuts to staffing across the rail network. I agree that the Government should halt the expansion of DOO services and stop cutting jobs across the railway industry to ensure that staffing levels remain safe at all times. I am committed to prioritising public service over private profit, which is why the manifesto I stood on at the 2017 General Election pledged to bring our railways back into public ownership. I believe this would allow us to provide passengers with real benefits, such as capped fares and free Wi-Fi across the rail network. I am confident that taking back control of our railways would provide tangible benefits for the rail users across the UK. I believe our fragmented, privatised railway has driven up costs and left passengers paying more for less. Furthermore, I am concerned that the Government has the wrong priorities for the railway, as it has chosen to award Stagecoach and Virgin a £2 billion taxpayer bailout, at the same time as implementing the steepest fares hike in five years, de-staffing trains and pulling promised investment. Thank you again for making me aware of your views on this issue. I can assure you that I will continue to fight for a properly funded railway run in the public interest, with fair fares and adequate staffing. Yours sincerely, Jeff Smith MP for Manchester Withington 0161 445 0678 (Manchester Withington Office) Unit 1, Withington Fire Station, 505-507 Wilmslow Road, Withington, M20 4AW 0207 219 5878 (office in Parliament) House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Prince Frederick von Saxe-Lauenberg
