Don't build a tunnel at StonehengeBecause I like catching a glimpse of Stonehenge as I drive past on the A303. Putting the road in a tunnel will spoil this pleasure for millions, and their children.101 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Andy Tribble

Regular Day Bus Service Between Beaconsfield, Penn and HazelmereIn Beaconsfield congestion keeps getting worst and it is mostly due to people driving into the train station and to school during peak times and this means that it can take you 30 minutes to get into Beaconsfield on the Penn Road. Also Knotty Green is currently a blank spot for a regular bus service and has a 30 minute walk into Beaconsfield to get the bus/train. So an extension of these routes would reduce congestion and provide a vital link between Beaconsfield, Knotty Green, Penn and High Wycombe.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gareth Jackson

Safer roads in PenpedairheolSo many children along with families and elderly are put at risk each day crossing the main road through Penpedairheol. There has been a number of accidents and children knocked down by the sheer number of cars which use the roads and the lack of visability due to parked cars. It is essential that our local council pay attention to ensuring we live in a safe environment in order to prevent a fatality.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Emily Sms

FREE Parking on Princes ParadeShepway is fast becoming a tourist location that is popular for many. For us who live here, the beaches and canal are the places we go for leisure, for exercise, for stress relief, to enjoy and the council are taking that away from us. We should be able to enjoy this area without paying! Not only are they charging, they have put the machines the opposite side of the road, a danger waiting to happen. Sign this petition, show support and let us put pressure on these councillors!68 of 100 SignaturesCreated by James Smith

Make all Rainham buses stop at the train stationThere is currently only one bus (103) that operates directly outside of Rainham Essex c2c rail station, however there are three other buses that operate in the local area. Therefore, we want the Mayor and Transport for London to direct the 287, 372, and 165 buses to stop at the Rainham Interchange bus stop (outside Rainham station). This new bus route will enable people to more easily change between buses and the train, at any time of the day. By introducing this additional bus stop, it will connect the 287, 372, and 165 buses to the 103 and provide those with specific mobility requirements with better access to different modes of transport. In addition to the station, the bus stop also directly serves Rainham Library and its nursery so the justification for better connections to it seems overwhelming. This bus stop also has better shelter for people to stand under in bad weather than Rainham War Memorial (D) bus stop, which all buses currently stop at. Residents and commuters will have a direct route towards the station and back home without having to walk through the dark, in bad weather, or out of their way to another bus stop. This will reduce the number of local and short car journeys that drop off and pick people up from the station.87 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Azzees Minott

First Bus seat belts optionFirstly it astonishes me that public transport providers can get over 80 people on a bus without providing a single seat belt for its passengers. Some buses will travel along the motorway at 50mph+ and will be at the same if not an increased risk of being involved in an RTC, do we not deserve the right to protect ourselves against injury in the event of a collision? How is it illegal for one person in a small car to not wear a seat belt yet these bus companies can cram over 80 people onto a double decker bus and then travel at 50mph down the motorway without providing a single seat belt. Think about our children and elderly that are more fragile than the rest of us, surely they deserve a little extra protection. Please sign this petition so we can force public transport providers to act responsibly and protect us wherever possible. After all we are relying on one person who we've never met before to drive correctly and make the right decisions on a very busy highways network.61 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lee Ward

Castle Ward Air Quality Petition | Colchester Green PartyColchester Green Party have been monitoring levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in a number of locations in Castle Ward. Five areas exceeded the World Health Organisation's recommended safety limit of 40 micrograms per cubic metre. These high levels of NO2 pose a serious health threat to the public, particularly residents living in the following areas: St Botolphs Street - 52.72 East Street (Ipswich Road junction) - 60.74 North Station Road - 58.02 East Street - 52.76 East Hill (Priory Street Junction) - 44.17 We therefore call upon the Colchester Borough Council to decrease the levels of pollution, starting with the implementation of our three proposals. These proposals would encourage drivers to consider alternative modes of transport (cycling and walking), deter drivers from idling, and incentivise electrification of motor vehicles.91 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Matt Stemp

Stop putting School Childrens lives at riskThis is important, we hear of deaths on our roads all the time, the M40 school bus crash lost the lives of all the children plus the unlicensed teacher that was driving after teaching for a day, Belt Up School Kids (BUSK) have campaigned for a change for years, now the law says it must be done, the EU have already said that the UK are facing a very heavy fine for not complying with the law, so there will be no cost saving. Private school children's parents pay fees for this service & don't realise that they have a unqualified driver & worse than that, the vehicle would have no insurance cover when the insurance company find out it 's driver has no licence, we need to protect our next generation. In state schools you now find community transport vehicles & unlicensed drivers for those vehicles performing this transport on a cut price basis so the LA can get the transport within their budget, this is since the austerity measures made at the same time as the EU law change.159 of 200 SignaturesCreated by tony hill
