Ensure future US compliance with the Paris Agreement through future trade dealsTrump's decision to withdraw the US from the Paris Agreement could have devastating consequences for all of us. This short sighted move designed to protect the American economy by removing regulation related to emissions cannot be allowed to work. It is all of us who will pay the price, and we cannot allow US polluters to profit from this.54 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Pete Massey

KEEP OUR POST OFFICE IN KEDINGTON SUFFOLKWe have had a post office in the village of Kedington over 50yrs. It is essential to keep the post office in the village as it caters to the elderly, the disabled, people without transport that would not be able to get to the nearest town 5 miles away. Our post office is run exceptionally well and this must not be allowed to happen.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Brenda Phillips

AN ENGLISH/WELSH TRULY WALKING RIGHT TO ROAMWE, THE UNDERSIGNED, DEMAND A TRULY, UNIVERSAL RIGHT TO ROAM SIMILAR TO THE SCOTTISH 2003 LEGISLATION. The English and Welsh countryside needs to be opened up for recreation and leisure. Walking/rambling is one of the top pastimes and it is very important for mental and physical health (e.g. combatting Depression, obesity). Walkers/ramblers greatly respect and value wildlife and the British countryside. Many species are facing extinction. Former Minister of State for The Environment, Labour’s Left Wing (the late) Michael Meacher’s Right to Roam policy (2000 Act) needs to be extended so that anyone can (responsibly) walk on any “cart” tracks and farm land (subject to exceptions), akin to Scotland’s 2003 legislation. Michael’s Act only provided limited access to the countryside, via relatively small areas called “Access Land.” Michael also created the South Downs National Park. This has been its saviour, as it protects the beautiful Downs from the current ravages to the countryside by almost unfettered developments. Changes in the Planning Laws (and Government policy) unleashed the developers. They love to build upon Green Field Sites, often in beautiful rural locations, to maximise profits. The unique British countryside is a major attraction for the Tourist Industry. Greater local access to the countryside, generally, should reduce the stress on the National Parks (e.g. The Lake District) through overuse (e.g. erosion of foot paths). There should be greater financial support for environmental groups, conservationists, rural education and the farm industry, especially small farmers. This would be part of the “deal.” Historically, under the Enclosure Acts since the 18th century, the “gentry” and landowners “stole” the land from the “common people.” True Right to Roam would give some recompense for these past injustices. Arguably, many farms have been bought over and over again by the Public Purse, through subsidies. Since the 19th Century, there was a strong lobby for the Nationalisation of land (Fabian pamphlet 1958), although this is not the aim of this petition. Although aimed to be discussed in Parliament, political parties might wish to include the principles behind this petition in their manifestos. BETTER LOCATION FOR STIRLING GRADUATION 2017/18The University of Stirling should take the opportunity of its 50th anniversary to allow its students to graduate from somewhere far more interesting than a sports centre tennis hall. It is, frankly, disrespectful to its graduands to do so. Stirling Castle has a main hall and a church that could accommodate - if not as many - an acceptable number of attendees. Arrangements could easily be made to allow for more guests to attend the ceremony. Furthermore, as such an iconic part of Stirling, how better to integrate the university with its surrounding city than this? Dunblane Cathedral is a far larger location, which would be perfectly suited for this occasion. However, it is obviously a religious setting and slightly removed from the campus. Practicality deems it a better place for size, but there are problems that may be a hindrance.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ross Brannigan

The Earth verses TrumpTill now Governments and their people across the globe have given good grace to commercial interests. Allowing time to change their culture and processes. Reneging on a bench mark commitment as important as the Paris Accord should be met with total intransigence from all elected and public bodies and their people. The UK Government, all EU member states and the industrialised countries have committed themselves and their people to the Paris Accord. Therefore: If the United States wishes to continue to use fossil fuels to power it's industries and commerce and to refuse to adopt the change already agreed by them - then we here in the UK and across Europe must reject and limit the harm of that country's industry by declaring all United States business unfit for trade.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Simon Wells

Let our dogs on the beachIt's important for dogs to be allowed on the beach to have a paddle in the hot weathers even if it's in the evenings When most people have gone home ,because most responsible dogs owner don't take there dogs out in the blistering heat anyway but would be nice after 7 for them to have a paddle and cool down . And most responsible dogs owners clean up after there dogs unlike some humans lately, which annoys me greatly, us dogs owners would really appreciate if this was to be put into consideration,18 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sarah Harle

Clean up Social HousingThe UK has regulating bodies covering all aspects of life, that members of the public can complain to about poor standards of service. Yet Social Housing is not one of them, despite housing costs being the largest essential outlay for most of us. I am a Hyde Housing Association leaseholder, struggling for one year, to get answers to questions about service charges, for services not rendered. I have ample evidence, yet most of my emails have not only been ignored by staff but also the CEO, the Ombudsman and a local councilor and all published/promised deadlines have been missed. The sums involved are not worth the stress of preparing for and costs of Tribunal but that is my only remaining option. There is much evidence online, of leaseholders and tenants of leading housing associations, seeking justice for unfair charges or worse, life-threatening, unattended repairs and of suspect practices and negligence. In 2015, total UK housing association stock stood at 2,828,000 and this will have risen with new build initiatives designed to deal with the housing crisis. Potentially, the vast majority of the leaseholders and tenants of these properties, could be either unaware that their service charges do not reflect actual expenditure or are aware and are unable to get justice. It is a national disgrace that these bodies, endorsed and supported by Government, who the public should be able to trust, are not being held to account for their exceedingly poor practices and continue to win awards and new contracts at the expense of millions of households. Please support this petition, in particular, if you are a housing association leaseholder or tenant who is sick of grand statements, that are rarely lived up to.25 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sonia Reid

Keep High Functioning Autism as part of NHS diagnostic services. As someone with HFA, i feel this is hugely beneficial to the person and family involved. It could be potentially damaging to a childs future, if they were not to receive a diagnosis that could benefit them, their family and their education and unlock doors to them getting appropriate support.80 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Carly Considine Âû
