Lower bus fares in ChesterWhy are the bus fares in Chester so varied? Blacon to the bus station is around £2 all day travel to travel 2 miles in distance, but from Kingsway to the centre costs £3.40 all day travel and its only an extra 0.6 of a mile in travel how can it cost this much? I could get to Ellesmere port from Chester at £4 all day travel and you are travelling 6 miles! That's only and extra 60p and I am travelling an extra 4 miles in distance!!! Who has worked these fares out?? And how can 0.6 of a mile cost more then 4 miles?! I do not understand how they work the bus fares out and why certain places are charged way more. Fares need re looking at and a fairer price needs to be set. Not adding an extra £1.40 to travel just over half a mile but to travel an extra 4 miles it only costs 60p! Its ridiculous and something needs to be done.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sarah McDermott

Cumberland Infirmary Hospital Parking ChargesThe car parking company (UKPC) expects patients and staff to guess how much time they will need to be in the car park. If people overpay there are no refunds, if they underpay they are given large fines. There is no facility for paying by card if you don't have any cash. A fairer system would be pay as you leave. The current system exploits people when they are at their most vulnerable. It is completely unfit for purpose and should be changed.730 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Shaun Silson

End the shame and stigma for survivors of domestic, mental, physical and sexual abuseAbuse in all its forms is largely a silenced issue. It's estimated that up to 20% of adults have been abused at some point in their lives - yet we never hear these stories because people are too frightened or ashamed to come forwards. Abuse survivors have to live with the trauma of abuse as though it is still happening to them in the here and now, living with a range of issues including mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and PTSD, flashbacks, trust issues, even an inability to go on and have healthy relationships. Some may develop dangerous coping mechanisms such as alcoholism and drug addiction. Perhaps on some level, society thinks if we never discuss it, it doesn't exist. But we do need to talk about it. We need to talk about it so that survivors can talk about it without fear and get the help they need. What has happened to them is NOT their fault, yet they are living with the repercussions and it has affected every aspect of their life. I speak from personal experience, having been the victim of abuse myself. I never spoke out about my experiences due to fear and shame, feeling that I would be judged or treated differently if I came forward. It took me many years to get the courage to speak to someone and begin to deal with the events that had happened, and the effects they had on me and my life. I want to remove that shame and stigma, I want us to talk openly about abuse - it happens everyday! We need to be open about it, accept it, and help survivors to come forward and get the help they need. This petition will be delivered to: Secretary of State for Health Secretary of State for Justice It will also be sent to all UK local councils, general media, medical professionals and made available to the general public. Hose pipe watering on AllotmentsWatering cans can be heavy when filled up and this is a deterent to older people who would like an allotment but are put off by all the necessary watering. Allowing hose pipes to water the plants, PROVIDING all users agree to an increase in their rents if necessary, is a plausible Health reason. It has been shown time and time again, working in the outdoors on an allotment is very beneficial both to mental Health and physical Health.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Marion Crockford-Smith

End Rough Sleeping and Homelessness in the UKSince 2010, the number of homeless people in the UK has doubled. In the last year alone, there has been a 10% rise in the amount of people accessing homeless services. The cuts to council funding is forcing their budgets on housing services to be slashed. Housing services and homeless organisations offer help to some of the country's most vulnerable people, yet the lack of funding has meant that temporary shelters, hostel beds and soup kitchens are having to close. The government must recognise that councils are struggling to cope with the demand. Recent cuts to housing benefit has put many young 18-to-21-year-olds at risk of becoming homeless, by denying them access to the private rental housing market. We are calling on the government to re-think funding cuts and make the necessary changes, and give local councils the support they need in order to offer lifelines to the most vulnerable people in our society.79 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joe Read

Put an end to Homelessness NOW!Homelessness is on the rise in the UK (Brown et al. 2016). Something needs to be done to stop this! People who do not have a permanent place to call home are being forced to sleep in temporary accommodation such as hostels or even worse, on the streets. Crisis the homeless charity reported that there were 4,134 people sleeping rough in 2016 on a single night in Autumn across England! Stop Giving Goldfish Away As Prizes on Hook A Duck Or At Any Fair StallI care for the welfare of animals (no matter how small or irrelevant they seem to people). People all over the country will buy Goldfish from the fair and not care for them or do even worse like dispose of them after they realise they dont want them. This is not fair. They deserve a happy healthy life with caring owners. As for Fairground stall owners, I don't see them treating the Goldfish right, ever feeding them or making sure they're ok for that matter. All some people see Goldfish as is an object/ a prize, not an animal who needs caring for. This needs to stop.44 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jess Aimee
