Parliament is rubbish - we all know that. And being a good MP is probably even more rubbish. But we need the good MPs to stay in Parliament, and make it less rubbish. And Mhairi Black of the SNP is one of them. I'm English, and don't want Scotland to leave the UK. I wouldn't vote the SNP. But I know a good opposition MP when I see one - who calls out the hypocrisy of the government, speaks up for those stepped on by the cuts and makes sure the Brexit deal we get from the EU is a good one. Parliament is full of boring old men, weird traditions, strange rituals and some seriously odd cosplay. One of the chambers isn't even elected, and the building itself is falling apart. That's why we need decent MPs like Mhairi Black to stay in office and strive to make it better - more representative, responsive and honest. Mhairi: Please don't leave!

We need to raise awareness of the unfair way women in their fifties have been treated over the raising of their State Pension age with little or no notice. This has severely impacted on women born in the fifties ho have been robbed of their pensions . We are disappointed there is no media coverage

I have facial disfigurement and I have encountered discrimination and hate crime throughout my life. Society judge by my disfigurement. I encounter staring, negative comments, and sniggering. I have failed employment interviews. I have encountered bullying. I have been stopped from driving due to new ruling with DVLA after 30 years of safe driving with a congenital defect.

Fuel poverty is a major issue in Northern Ireland. People are already having to choose if they should ' heat or eat.' This extraordinary price hike will make it impossible for people to heat their homes, dry their clothes and wash their children. Those worst affected will be low income families and those caring for elderly relatives or the disabled. Firmus is the main supplier of energy to those in social housing. Firmus say that they have no choice but to pass on to the customers the increases they have had to pay on the global gas markets. This is untrue. While gas prices spiked last year, they have continued to fall since.Gas prices on international markets are now similar to the prices large companies paid in February 2016.Prior to this point gas prices had been in almost continual decline for approximately 3 years. No one has received a 12.2% pay rise, there has been no similar increase to pensions and benefits. People simply cannot afford to pay this higher tariff. I cannot afford to heat my home. Please sign this petition asking for Firmus Energy to reconsider their price increases. We appreciate that that they must set their prices with profit in mind but to increase the cost to customers by 12.2% is not only unfair but is also morally wrong.

When you're at a time where you're mentally distressed, to the point you need to be in hospital, knowing where you are plays a bigger role than you'd think. If you know you're up the road from your house, or a short bus ride away, it gives you peace of mind. You know you're family and friends will be able to visit you, and bring you things you might need. It also means you can have effective home leave before being discharged. Now imagine, you're being sent 100miles away from your home, to a place where you probably don't know anyone. What if no one in your family drives? You become alone and isolated, at a time where being around people who love you matters more than anything; but you're all alone instead. There are kids being sent far away! Some as young as 12. If you're far away, and you are in a unit where you can't use your mobile, how are you meant to stay in contact with friends? What if you're in that hospital for months? Having no familiarity makes you sink even lower. It is essential that more is done to improve the current bed crisis.

I work in a hospital enviroment where i see families affected by the common STI, Chlamydia ( Chlamydia Trachomatis). But what shocked me the most is the UK NSC and Public health have not worked together to approve Chlamydia screening in pregnant woman. I have seen women and heard stories from women, who have given birth to babies that have had Chlamydia that has been passed on by the mother while being vaginally delivered. These women have not known that they had Chlamydia and feel a sense of guilt and anger that the fact they never knew which could hhave been prevented and that they had passed this on to their baby. Chlamydia could potentially be fatal to a baby if left untreated, It can cause the baby to have very bad eye infections ( inclusion conjunctivitis) from being exposed to the mothers infected vaginal fluids, it could lead to an infection in the respiratory tract, causing infant pneumonia which if this isn't then picked up could lead to respiratory failure. A women who is infected increases the risk of her waters breaking prematurely, causing the baby to also be born early. This is why it is important for me to get this changed. It costs the NHS less to test the mother before baby arrives, to what it does when both mother and baby need treating with antibiotics. the stress and suffering of seeing a poorly baby should be enough to ensure that every mother is given every right to ensure her health is well before her baby enters the world and be given a right to a healthy baby. Its not fair on the little babies Some hospitals do do this but its not a necessary screen nationally, which is why we need this to be a national screening process. Women asume that they have been tested, but its not always the case for a lot of pregnant women. Please support this campaign. I want this changed nationally so it becomes apart of the antenatal screening process and Public health and the uk NSC to make a decision in making this possible. Please sign..

While I’m making a lot of noise about 16 to 19 year olds, anybody up to 21 shouldn’t be ruled out. Young people of this age are highly likely to become mentally unwell. Making them homeless is only going to make the situation worse. There is guidance in place to tell councils that they need to consider issues like this that might make young people vulnerable – but this misses the point. Young people will always be vulnerable, they need a different kind of guidance and support than people with more life experience. It also isn’t right for councils to wait for illnesses to develop before taking action. This is the same message that is intended to be sent out by the Homelessness Reduction Bill. The lives of young people and the jobs of the people that support them will be affected by this ban. I’m asking that Lord Best take action while he can, and change the Bill to protect the UK’s children. Tesco has decided to pull British-produced Silver Spoon from its shelves and has instead opted to sell Tate and Lyle cane sugar, which is imported from as far afield as Belize, in a bid to “provide the best possible prices” to customers. Sugar industry representatives said it was a blow to a sector estimated to employ 1,400 people and supporting a further 9,500 skilled jobs – the majority of which are based in East Anglia, where most of the nation’s beet crop is grown and processed. Michael Sly, Chairman of the National Farmers’ Union’s sugar board said: “NFU Sugar and its growers are hugely disappointed that Tesco is no longer selling Silver Spoon sugar which is proudly grown by British sugar beet producers,” said Mr Sly. “Not only is it a great product, the sugar beet industry makes an important contribution to the rural economy. “What makes it even more frustrating is that Tesco has chosen to deny consumers the choice of buying home-grown sugar which is produced sustainably, benefitting both the economy and the environment alike.”

Sudbury's Town, District and County Councillors are well aware of the need for traffic infrastructure modernisation, but other than speculating on a Western Bypass that may happen in a future decade the reality is little if any effort has been made to manage existing traffic beyond the bare minimum. Indeed many villages have better traffic calming measures compared to Sudbury's crumbling roads. The UK Government is beginning to publicly acknowledge the health dangers of emissions and County Council's Nationwide are adopting the 20's Plenty initiative.
