We clearly recognise the importance of the events that happened previously and take this as an opportunity to create a safer clubbing environment. This could be a great opportunity for THE ARCHES GLASGOW to prove that this is a first class venue, ready to ensure the safety of all patrons and enjoyment of clubbers worldwide. As the city of Glasgow we feel that every participant of the club would be behind the new Arches and adopt this important and safe way of enjoying a clubbing culture.

The Kirkella and Westella Parish Council have turned down a request for a colourful bench to be placed on the corner of School Lane opposite St. Andrews School in Kirkella for reasons as stated by Margaret Raymond, "It may make it look like Disney land" I say why not? Jess was colourful and no one should ever wave goodbye to their child and not see them again. The existing bench is broken to add insult to injury. ! Robert Carver urgently needs your assistance. He is a paraplegic with no use or feeling in either of his legs alongside numerous debilitating conditions including, fibromyalgia and colitis. Despite his severely debilitated condition, Brighton & Hove City Council are refusing to provide him with appropriate housing, causing him daily pain. For the past two years, Bobby has been unable to walk or use his legs. Through complete negligence on the part of Brighton and Hove Council, he is still housed in a second floor, temporary-accommodation flat, with a steep and narrow staircase, which is totally unsuitable for his needs. His social worker and many council professionals have witnessed, first-hand, that he has to lower himself down these stairs using only his arms, causing him to fall regularly. Bobby’s flat is also tiny, cramped and none of the doorways are suitable for wheelchairs. Because of this, he has to pull himself around on the floor, dragging his legs behind him, causing his body yet more damage every day. I am hoping to pressure Brighton and Hove City Council into providing the housing that Bobby should be getting already without a fight. It opens up more job opportunities for working parents with regards to availability, employers can be assured that parents will be punctual to work, it will ensure that children are getting a healthy breakfast, of which costs very little and at a small cost to parents there would be a profit which will free up some funding or add to the quality of schools through ptas.

From NHS information, despite some gains in organ transplant consent, the UK still has one of the lowest rates of consent (authorisation in Scotland) in Europe. A Presumed Consent Law has been brought in in Wales and resulted in more transplants. A Presumed Consent Law would still allow people to choose not to have their organs used, but it would increase the number of organs available for doctors to save more lives. In bringing in a Presumed Consent Law to England we would actually be protecting ourselves and our loved ones in the future, should a transplant ever be needed. It would also bring to the forefront the importance of organ donation to the nation as a whole and hopefully make the situation easier on the families of the deceased.According to NHS Blood and Transplant, family refusal is the biggest obstacle to donation.
