• Take action to guarantee GP registration for everyone in Edinburgh
The GP system in Edinburgh is falling apart and the GP surgeries are coping the only way they can - by limiting registrations. But everyone has the right to be registered with a GP. Restricting GP services could lead to more people self-diagnosing and self-medicating. Many may have to resort to going to A&E even though they should not need to. NHS Lothian needs to step in here. They need to recruit more GPs and regulate the behaviour of the GP surgeries.

  • LGBT+ Support Session
I am a student at Blackburn University Centre I have created a project linking with the LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexuals and Transgender plus) Community. I think there is a lack of support out there. There was support sessions in place but due to funding cuts the help diminished so I want to re-instate that to the public. So I want to have support sessions in place offered by trained staff in all schools, colleges and Universities. I feel that there is a need of this campaign due to a lack of understanding of the meanings and clarification of the LGBT+ Community. SO I want YOUR HELP!! Some facts - 58% did not feel that their school was a safe and welcoming place for lesbian, gay or bisexual pupils, also 13% said that reporting bullying actually resulted in anything being done about it. 50% of lesbian and bisexual women under the age of 20 have self-harmed in the past year, compared to 1 in 15 generally. (Stonewall: 2008) and finally LGB people are twice as likely as heterosexual people to have suicidal thoughts or to make suicide attempts. Also another shocking fact - Lesbian, Gay and Bisexuals people are two to three times more likely than heterosexual people to suffer from depression. I want your help so please sign this petition - I will appreciate it!

  • Bread for refugees.
For many , many years, over 150, we have been sending corn and wheat to refugees to grind, wet and cook. These tasks require work (by weakened people), water (in short supply, not fit to drink), and collect wood and chop down trees for fires. Now, no trees, no rain.

  • Remove George Osborne's Companion of Honour
We can no longer credibly hand out rewards for mere post holding. It is neither just, right or proper to present any award to someone who has caused such personal misery to so many people. Neither is it appropriate to reward someone for spiralling debt.

  • Support Lauri Loves request for an appeal against his extradition to America
It is important because Lauri Love is considered to be a high suicide risk, given his Aspergers Syndrome and related mental health issues, by top AS specialists and by his GP: over 100 MPs recently wrote to President Obama requesting that Love should face any alleged charges in the UK if this us deemed necessary. This vulnerable young man whose extraordinary computer skills are symptomatic of his mental health issues in terms of obssessive behaviours, is likely to become a test case for the new legislation linked to the extradition of UK citizens. This case is likely to progress to the High Court and ultimately the European Court of Human Rights, at considerable cost to the public purse and its impact on the young man's mental health.

  • Keep Carnaby Cat and The Cat - A - Go - Go on air
The Cat - A - Go - Go is a solely 1960s show on independent radio playing rarities and well known songs only on vinyl. Removal off this programme would mean another loss to music of yesteryear. If this continues to happen, 1960s music would be replaced by nothing but modern sounds. A stand must be made.

  • Immigration data collection
Experts warn immigration data collection at work could contravene race relations and anti-discrimination laws. Amber's list is divisive; We are asking the Parliament to make any requirement for companies to collect immigration data or disclose the number of foreign workers they employ illegal. “At a time when we need strong links globally to seize new opportunities after the [Brexit] referendum, being seen as open to the best and brightest is vital,” said Josh Hardie, deputy director-general of the CBI of employers' organisation. “Those of us who want a sensible Brexit, who want Britain to remain a beacon of tolerance and who find the denigration of non-British workers appalling have a duty to speak out.”Roland Rudd,Amber Rudd's own Brother.

  • Help charity single get into the charts
This is to help raise funds for the International Bomber Command Centre. YOUNGSTARS are a group of children from Lincolnshire that have joined together to help raise the funds. The 17 children are age between 8-15yrs old with an average age of 11years old. By buying this single you are helping to make this project a reality. Recognition - Remembrance - Reconciliation are words that sum up the release of ‘Tears of the World’ available Remembrance Day, 11th November. This is certainly a single with a difference, a superbly produced track with a simple but highly emotive message about the harsh realities of war, written by Jim Dooley of 70’s pop group The Dooleys, and sung by a new and young contemporary vocal group, The Youngstars. International Bomber Command Centres project is as followed Step 1 The Spire Memorial At the heart of the International Bomber Command Centre are the Memorial Spire and Walls of Names. Made using Corten weathering steel, the Memorial is 102ft (31.09m) high, the wingspan of the iconic Avro Lancaster bomber, and the width at the base is 16ft (5m), the width of a Lancaster wing. It is now recognised as the UK's tallest war memorial. The Spire was erected in May 2015 and was officially unveiled in October that year. The Walls of Names carry the details of over 58,500 men and women who lost their lives whilst serving or supporting Bomber Command during WW11 (currently 26,296 names are in place, the remainder will be sited in late June 2017) The Spire commands stunning views across Lincoln, with a focus on the ancient Cathedral, which served as a sighting point for crews flying from Lincolnshire. For many of the men named on the walls, the Cathedral provided their last sight of Britain. Step 2 The Chadwick Centre Named in honour of Roy Chadwick, who designed the iconic Lancaster, The Chadwick Centre at the International Bomber Command Centre will tell the collective story of Bomber Command. The centre will include two floors and three galleries telling the story of Bomber Command, including what it was like to serve or support during World War 11, the story of being a civilian manufacturing the planes or being under the raids and finally the story of the struggle those that served had to gain recognition. The exhibitions will include state of the art digital interactive elements, film shows and an opportunity to be a crew member on an Operation. Step 3 Peace Gardens The IBCC will feature two peace gardens set across 5 acres of landscaped grounds. Each offer quiet contemplative space and are free to access. The Lincolnshire Peace Garden includes 27 native trees marking each of the operational Bomber Command stations in the county during the war. Interpretation, both digital and physical will help you to trace the history of each station and the Squadrons that were stationed there. The International Peace Garden will tell the story of the 60 nations who served or supported the Command. Covering 5 continents, the story of their involvement is one that is rarely known. We hope this single will help get the final elements of funding needed.

  • Support Mhairi Black's private members bill
It speaks to the people of this country this disunited Kingdom and indeed the world at large and it says here is a government that cares for the rich at the expense of the poor. I believe that this is important and as a nation it is up to us to speak out a challenge this cruelty.

  • National Mourning Day (Remembrance Day)
Was thinking yesterday on the 11/11 Remembrance Day, why do we not have a National Mourning Day instead of a one of these so called Bank holidays. The 11/11 is probably the most important day in the lives of millions, a day and time that changed the world we live in today. We say "We will remember them" and we do! but for two minutes at the moment that the war ended so many years ago. Then its back to work!! We then have a National Service of Rememrance in our Cities Towns and Hamlets on the nearest weekend. We should be having these Remembrance Services on the 11/11 no matter what day it falls on. WE, all of us, men, women and children coming together to remember our fallen and those who are stil giving their lives for our security and for others worldwide. I know there will be fors and against this suggestion, so i would be interested in hearing your thoughts and opinions.

  • Do not allow Donald Trump to be referred to as "leader of the free world"
The world needs to send Donald Trump a message - while the American people may have been conned by his reality show of a campaign, the rest of the world does not subscribe to his hateful and offensive rhetoric.
