Remembrance Sunday- The Living Men and Woman Veterans who have been forgotten by their country. This Generation have given us everything. They fought for our freedom during WW2. Yet we give them nothing but misery, made to live on a pittance of a State pension. Without this Generations efforts and sacrifices during WW2, none of us would be here today.73 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michael Thompson

Improve bus services in and around PlymouthPublic transport is very important, especially for young people, as it provides independence and improves connections between places. However, many young people find themselves unable to afford the increasing prices of buses: for example, a single to Tavistock costs £4.80 for those over 15. Additionally, many bus services to areas surrounding Plymouth are very infrequent: the bus to Wembury can be less often than every 2 hours. Better public transport will greatly increase the connections between areas in Plymouth, and will make the lives of young people much easier.34 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Juliette Cotton

We demand a Local Referendum to decide the future of Poole CouncilA consultation has begun on options for splitting the county into two unitary authorities Thousands of Residents have expressed their concern over the lack of democratic process and said the consultation is not reaching constituents 8 out of 10 people asked said they “did not know anything about it, other said “it’s a done deal, what can we do about it?” Others say the Merger is 'inevitable' The Crime Commissioner Mr Underhill has been reported as saying: "Where's the democracy here? A referendum would cost less than roughly 1% of the savings projected - it's about a million pounds - but for such a big democratic change, why don't we actually give people a referendum?" Mr Underhill has been reported to also criticise the exclusion of a "single Dorset unitary" option, previously suggested and debated by councils. One of the proposals being put to the public is the merger of Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and East Dorset and the formation of a smaller conurbation of North Dorset, Purbeck, West Dorset and Weymouth & Portland, but this is not the preferred option by the councils Another option is for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to join forces with the remaining councils forming the second unitary authority A third option would be for the existing unitaries of Bournemouth and Poole to combine, leaving the rest of Dorset to merge A fourth option is to retain all nine councils There has been a lot spent on consultations that attracted 40 people or less. The consultation is not reaching ALL households as a Local Referendum would, everyone would then have the opportunity to respond It has been reported that the Councils have already started to merge services in preparation to merge the Councils which is fueling the ‘done deal’ and ‘inevitable’ fears of the Public Sign this petition to demand a Local Referendum on the merging of Councils in Dorset, by signing you will be sending a message out to the Councils that WE THE PUBLIC WANT TO DECIDE THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNCILS57 of 100 SignaturesCreated by The People of Poole and Dorset

Urgent Medical Care Defibrillators For PrisonsI have personal experience of this unfortunately as my own father died prematurely whilst in HMP Brixton Prison of a Myocardinal Infraction ie a heart attack. He was on beta-blockers at the time. I still have his watch stuck on the exact time. I think that if every Prison had a defibrillator onsite and the staff are trained in Urgent Medical Care then many incidents could be prevented or at least alleviated whilst waiting for Emergency Care Providers. Especially when they may have a condition which could affect their Mental or Physical Health or both. We are all human and even if we are sent to Prison don't you think we owe it to the prisoners to take care of them too. It is a Human Right's Issue and it should happen. There are so many Prisoners and Overcrowding is a Huge Issue. I Urge you to join this campaign thank you for reading this issue2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Luciana Gibbins-Lanteri

Stop no win no fee solicitors. This is part of the compensation culture we have inherited from the USA and is making Health and Safety so restrictive that business especially in the construction industry is hardly able to function. It has got so ridiculous that children cannot even run around in the playground and we wonder why 50% of them are obese.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Brian Rides

Require taxi services in London to go greenLondon is one of the most polluted cities in the world, pollution limits set by the EU are consistently broken by many London boroughs. Black Cabs and Uber drivers form a good majority of the traffic in London and are regulated by the TfL. New buses are electric, so why are our taxi services still polluting London's streets? This is important not only for air pollution in London, but for climate change as a whole - transport is the second largest contributor to carbon emissions in the UK, producing one fifth of our total carbon emissions. It's time our government did more to protect the world we want to live in.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Eric Vlaanderen

Free school meals for all pupils in compulsory education in ScotlandWriting as a recently retired Home Economics teacher I strongly believe that we must take urgent action to improve the health of our young people. By providing a free school meal to all pupils will undoubtedly make a huge difference. It now needs to be part of their education. Giving them a taste of real food and encourage healthy eating lifestyle for life. We (teachers) have failed their parents who all too often rely on take aways rather than cooking for family meals. From experience after lunch classes were always a challenge where pupils were lunching on Red Bull and chips. No concentration and little learning took place. At present a free school meal is provided to all pupils in Primary 1, 2,and 3. This has been a great success. It now needs to extended to all. All costs involved could easily be covered by taxing high sugar and energy drinks and sweets. Urgent action is needed if we care about Scotlands future.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rose Baird

Stop Donald Trump from entering ScotlandIt is important that we ban Trump from entering Scotland as we do not wish him to promote his views here and to incite violence and hatred among people in Scotland. We do not have to show respect for a President who behaves in such a manner as Donald Trump who has promoted himself through a campaign of hate. Banning Trump from entering will be Scotland's way of rejecting his views of islamophobia, sexism, racial hatred and violence. This is important because Scotland is a multicultural country where we want to promote equality and justice for all. Please sign the petition. Thank you.71 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Naledi Herman

Young Offenders provision in the HighlandsYoung offenders, both on remand and serving a sentence, are aged 16 to 21. Keeping contact with family and friends is a vital part of rehabilitation into the community. However, for Y O s from the Highlands and Islands the journey to Polmont for their visitors is a long and costly journey and for some families may even be completely unaffordable. There is visiting time every day at Polmont, but if it is not equally accessible to Y O s from both the Central Belt and the Highlands and Islands, this does not seem to me to be fair and equal treatment under the law.69 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Catherine Salter

Stand up to Trump's IslamophobiaTo challenge the anti-Muslim rhetoric and re-inforce all British citizens' rights to travel freely. To highlight that Trump's stated desire to exclude members of one particular religion from entering the US is in contradiction of the First Amendment of the US Constitution.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bryan Streeter
