• Start the school day later
Schools shouldn’t start classes until at least 11 AM. It is said that having to wake up early can affect the academic performance of a student and waking up later will allow students to be more rested and alert for lessons.

  • We do not consent to Smart Water Meters
Haringey residents have six concerns about the Smart Meter installation programme: 1. Not being consulted prior to installation; 2. Not compulsory (?); 3. Penalise poor people who live in crowded homes; 4. Risk to the health of humans, animals, pollinators, trees and plants; "10. The World Health Organisation’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) categorised RF EMFs as a Possible CARCINOGEN (Group 2B), the same as lead, DDT, chloroform & methylmercury (31 May 2011)". "11. Dr Andrew Goldsworthy’s research warned that electromagnetically-conditioned water flow could strip lead from pipes (after firstly removing limescale) leading to lead poisoning. (1998, 2007, 2012 and 2016)". 5. Surveillance of water, gas and electric usage; and 6. Security risk through (nuclear) electromagnetic pulse attacks, space weather and hacking (“cybercrime”). Our focus is on Smart Water Meters but not exclusively. Full details about the Stop Smart Meters Haringey campaign can be found on our website below. This petition will be initially delivered to Haringey Council. The target is 2,200+

  • Tony's 3D Printed Pinball Machine
Tonys 3D printed Pinball machine took 1 year to design, print and build, using 8.5 kilometres of 3D printing material, 85 different filaments and 1200 hours of printing, it is currently the only one of its kind in existence and it is there to be challenged. However the Records Management Team at Guinness World Records do not deem it to be worthy of an entry into the record books. If you think that Tony should make the record book please sign the petition and share with everyone you know including the Guinness Book of Records https://www.facebook.com/GuinnessWorldRecords Tonys Pinball creation - http://3dfilaprint.com/tonys%20pinball/

  • prosecute the Daily Mail for race hate
Because although the promotion of race hate is a serious criminal offence, it is an almost daily occurrence in the pages of the Daily Mail - yet no action is taken against the newspaper or its editor. Today's front page is a particularly egregious example

  • OUTRAGEOUS RENT RISE FOR WORKSHOPS IN LONDON
Small, independent businesses will drop. They give London a character. This is imprudent and obstructing business growth.

  • Safe standing
Anybody that has attended a premier league or watched a premier league game on tv, will have noticed the lack of atmosphere at grounds across the country. This campaign will enable supporters of both clubs at the ground to create a better atmosphere in a safe environment.

  • SAY NO TO THE DAKOTA ACCESS PIPELINE
The pipeline is going over burial grounds and under a river that serves millions of people. The company concerned already have spills in other rivers and have it signed they are NOT responsible for clean up! Also this is land that was given to the reservation in a treaty so should be respected. Millions of people around the globe have been protesting about this on social media , many of them UK residents so please speak up on our behalf. The police have also been using force against what have only been peaceful protests but we do not want this to escalate.

  • The Scotch Whisky Trail
As a lover and drinker of all types of Scotch Whisky myself, I hope that this will bring back exclusivity and quality to all Scotch Whisky sold everywhere in the world. It will also, hopefully, make the industry to focus more on quality and exclusivity, rather than quantity. This will hopefully drive up the general quality of all Scotch Whisky produced.

  • The Burning Injustice of Orgreave
Amber Rudd, Home Secretary, has ruled out an inquiry into police malpractice at Orgreave, 1984. She stated there was not a sufficient basis for an inquiry because "nobody died" and there was "no miscarriage of justice". The Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign needs our support in their fight for justice for the miners and their families whose lives were blighted by the violent response to those on the picket line by the police, who may have been acting under political direction. This is why we need an inquiry.
