What the Frack! Regular referendums. Let the UK public vote for their future.Members of the public find it difficult to support a political party 100%. Our system is out of date, our MPs out of touch, the public go unheard. We agree with points made by the Lib Dems, the Conservatives, Labour, the Green Party, the SNP etc and sometimes we disagree with them all. Either way we can't communicate with the government effectively. The system needs to work for us all but instead it's dusty, nobody really understands it or cares to sort it out with any long term vision. We need to start again. Simplify. Direct questions, direct answers. If regular referendums were to take place, the public are truly part of the process, allowing us to demonstrate what we care about, that we're united and want to invest in the future of this land and it's people. Less moaning and more doing, having a proactive and fair say, feeling satisfied that the decisions are being made and supported by the majority of the UK. Let the UK public vote for their future. This Kingdom can then begin to feel proud and respected, and most importantly, united.27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tezia Perret

Katie Hopkins to be banished/expelled from the UKBecasue she is a dangerous and poisonous human being who goes against the basic values that this country should actually stand for in the world. Also because Donald Trump seems to think she is a respected journalist who speaks the truth and believes her outrageously divisive opinions "which she has to a deadline each week" (Charlie Brooker, Weekly Wipe, BBC2, 2015) are reasonable and make sense.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John O'Leary

James Clerk Maxwell for RBS BanknoteJames Clerk Maxwell stands beside Einstein and Newton in the trinity of physicists who explained how the universe works. The other two are global superstars, but Maxwell is barely known in his own country, Scotland. To celebrate a great man and encourage future generations to take risks and think big, Maxwell should be the face on the next RBS banknote. The greatest Scotsman to ever live deserves to be a household name.41 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rattle Magazine

Refugees Welcome in East HoathlyDavid Cameron announced we’ll welcome 20,000 more Syrian refugees. But there’s a catch. This will take 5 years, leaving thousands of refugees in limbo. It’s now up to us to show that in cities, towns and villages all across the country we’re ready to welcome people now. Aylan, the toddler who drowned fleeing Syria, was just three years old. His town was under attack by Isis. His five year old brother and his mum also died trying to reach safety. We don't want Britain to be the kind of country that turns its back as people drown in their desperation to flee places like Syria. So let's stand up for Britain's long tradition of helping refugees fleeing war. Let's show the Prime Minister that we, the people of the UK, are proud to do our part and provide refuge to people in their hour of need. Please sign and share, or start your own petition for your town or city here: https://you.38degrees.org.uk/efforts/refugees-welcome16 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tom Serpell

A curriculum to prepare us all for life?We believe that the place of citizenship education and PSHE in the curriculum should be radically overhauled through a youth-led UK-wide review; they are really important for young people’s growth and development as they teach vital life skills and can be the first steps to engaging young people in political life. Teaching staff should be specifically trained to a national standard to deliver citizenship education following this review. A curriculum to prepare us for life is important to the many young people in the united Kingdom, during the UKYP national debate at the house of commons this came in as the top 5 priority to deal with and as a DMYP i will make sure that there education prepares them for life hence the title 'curriculum to prepare us for life' this will hopefully if successful allow students to gain access to an education that will include things such as: • Political Education • Sex and Relationships Education • Cultural Awareness Education • Community Cohesion Education • Finance Skills Education • Sustainable Living Education • Citizenship Education If you want to know more visit the link below: http://www.ukyouthparliament.org.uk/campaign/curriculum-life/6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by anton dobson

Open Halstead Church to the Homeless for WinterThis redundant Anglican church is empty and not used for religious ceremonies. In the face of continuing "austerity" more and more people are facing a cold winter on the streets. The Church can afford to open this church in an act of Christian goodwill over the winter months. Please help to get the Churches Conservation Trust to open their doors.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Donna Tuck

Tim Sherwood: Monday Night FootballThe football world has reacted sadly to the news that Gary Neville will be taking over at Valencia, vacating his place on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football. His insight will be missed. There is only one man who can replace Gary and unite the nation. That man is Tim Sherwood. With his unique mix of cutting edge insight, banter, sartorial elegence and second to none punditry, Tim is who we want. Nay, Tim is who we need.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dan Rattigan

John Lewis : Christmas Parties not AdvertsIn UK an estimated 400,000 elderly people are lonely on Christmas Day. If John Lewis decided to spend £7 million on providing a party for them instead of advertising, it would mean an immediate £17.50 per head ... and even more than that if other large chain stores would get involved. The free publicity they would get from this wonderful gesture would encourage perhaps more people to feel like buying Christmas gifts from them.30 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Neil Stevenson

Ticket sales and Booking and Administration feesThis is important because people have to pay an administration fee, then a booking fee, then a postage fee. Ticket allocators like Ticketmaster are using other second hand party allocators to sell tickets and this also puts the price of tickets up. Not everyone can afford these very demanding prices, don't forget we also have the price of the ticket to pay for as well.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Brian ovens

Withdraw 'The Sun' from circulationRecent headlines claiming that 1 in 5 Muslims in the UK are sympathetic to ISIS is wrong and inflammatory. The consequence of these types of headlines will undoubtably result in hate crimes against Muslims in our community. Yes, ISIS (although we should refer to them as Daesh') - are evil and have to be dealt with, but associating Muslims with them, does no one any favours, especially in this way. Lest it is forgotten that they already kill Muslims.41 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Griggs
