As Sebastian Coe is the new president of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF), he must remain unbiased and have have no outside interests which could affect future decisions made within the IAAF.

Adults and children are dying trying to escape from conflict in their own country. They need a safe haven,in UK, until it is safe to return. UK should cooperate with other EU countries to facilitate their escape, thereby reducing their reliance on criminal traffickers, and then provide temporary accommodation and resources until it is safe for them to return to Syria. NOW is not the time for focus on catching traffickers, nor for political issues, such as limiting immigration into UK

The term migrant can be used for anyone wanting to move from one country to another. The masses escaping wars are doing so in fear of their lives and many would prefer to stay in their home country and will go back as soon as it is safe to. We need to realise this and calling them refugees will help.

It is also extrememy dangerous with regard to its neighbour Admirals House , a six storey listed building built in 1700 without foundations.

Evolution by natural selection is one of the most important scientific theories of all time. It explains how living organisms evolve over generations and create new species. Amazingly, not one but two British scientists had this idea roughly at the same time. They both had astounding adventures and suffered great hardship in their search for the truth and yet the contribution made by Wallace has largely been forgotten! It is time for that wrong to be righted by adding Wallace's portrait next to his friend and fellow adventurer, Charles Darwin. There is still time before the ten pound note is redesigned in 2017 and the belated addition would help educate the general public of the truth behind Evolution. London's Natural History Museum have had the vision to belatedly add a portrait of Wallace next to Darwin's statue so I hope the Bank of England will also have that same vision and courage to act. A wrong not righted becomes an injustice!

The community resources the council seems keen to knock down support a range of groups that connect our community. Without them many vulnerable people will lose support and spaces that they need, and all of us will lose affordable community led activities (including dancing, singing, sports and sewing clubs).

We are starting this petition because of an increasing number of threats to Minchinhampton's green fields from developers seeking to profit from turning agricultural land into housing. The Local Plan for Stroud, yet to be approved, will be an inadequate defence against further predatory assaults in our view. The Parish Council claims that those who want a Neighbourhood Plan represent a narrow interest pressure group. This petition is to demonstrate that many parishioners want a Neighbourhood Plan to allow them a say in the future of their Parish.
