Stand up for NHS funding in Colchester: Will QuinceCuts and closures aren’t the only option. If the government gave the NHS the money it needs, it’d mean decisions could be made with patients in mind. Across Suffolk and North East Essex the NHS is short of £248m. We already wait more than twice the amount of time we should for A&E appointments. Colchester cant cope with any more cuts or closures.733 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Michelle Shavdia

Stand up for NHS funding in Stafford: Jeremy LefroyNHS bosses in Stafford are drawing up plans to cut and close local services. The plan is short on detail - but there’s a £286m funding gap across Staffordshire and Stoke and the A&E in Stafford could close. Cuts and closures aren’t the only option. If the government gave the NHS the money it needs, it’d mean decisions like these could be made with patients in mind, rather than saving money. We're calling on our MP, Jeremy Lefroy, to stand up for the NHS in the Stafford. So far, it doesn’t look like he’s said much. But if thousands of us sign a petition asking him to demand the NHS gets more funding, it’ll show him that he needs to speak out.1,101 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Adam Wilkinson

Stand up for NHS funding in South Cambridgeshire: Heidi AllenNHS bosses in South Cambridgeshire are drawing up plans to cut and close local services. The plan is short on detail - but there's a £504m funding gap, and there'll be a "review" of A&E services. It looks like big changes are on the table. Cuts and closures aren't the only option. If the government gave the NHS the money it needs, it?d mean decisions like these could be made with patients in mind, rather than saving money. We're calling on our MP, Heidi Allen, to stand up for the NHS South Cambridgeshire. So far, it doesn't look like she's said much. Sutton United - Give Wayne Shaw His Job Back!!!Shaw was crying on the phone. It's not acceptable to see a 6ft odd 23 stone man cry over a pie. True injustice here - worse than the disallowed Ajax goal the other night. Max bet was only a £5 so the gambling commission need to do one. No club is bigger than the man. In all seriousness everyones had a laugh over past few weeks thanks to Wayne and he doesn't deserve to lose the job with the club he loves over a trivial matter.140 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Nathan Lauder

Reduce the legal voting age to 16It is important because many life changing decisions, for example the EU referendum, are determined by vote and will affect young people for decades to come, however, they do not get a voice in these matters. It is therefore necessary in order to achieve a balanced and equal society to lower the voting age to 16 and give young people a chance to have a say in the choices that will affect their future.189 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Thomas Palmer

Bring back nursing bursariesWe are depleting this wonderful profession. How can anyone expect nurses to pay to work a shift whilst learning. We must value nursing as a profession and encourage men and women back into this valuable profession by giving them bursaries so that they can afford to learn and train. Otherwise we will have no nurses left in this country. We have a major recruitment crisis. Who makes these decisions that affect the health and welfare of our country60 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Corrine Redfern-Wallace

Vote of no confidence in Hyndburn Borough CouncilNot unlike other areas of government, democracy has not been aparant in Hyndburn for some time, however, the recent act of felling the town's two horse chestnut trees in front of the markt hall that were heading for 80 years old was nothing less than an act of criminal damage. In the past the council have blocked access to motor vehicles and filtered them towards 2 large superstores; starving the town centre of custom. They have built an unwanted bus station and even named it after the man that presided over the commencement of the demise of the town. They keep the town in a poorly maintained dirty condition and everything that they do is with the minimum of effort, but felling these 2 beautiful trees is the final straw. This petition is here to demonstrate to the council how we feel about them and their actions. It is not political but we do desire the current councillors to stand down and allow us to elect people that will democratically represent us.809 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by James Hothersall

Stop freemasons from being public servantsThe Freemasons is a semi-secret organisation and its objectives are anti-democratic. Its existence seems to be one reason why so many political decisions prioritise business interests (i.e: privatisations etc). Also, local councillors and planners enable developments to be built that are against the public interest. Since any public servant's job is to serve the people, such a membership is a direct threat to democracy. Please share this campaign with like-minded friends and family - Many thanks.115 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Michael M

Save our Island of Sark from Chief PleasWe have seen our population dwindle from over 600 people in 2010 to around 420 people in 2017.Whole families with young children have been forced to leave the Island to seek work elsewhere. There is widespread discrimination in the workplace towards anyone who has dared to openly criticise Government members or fails to toe the one party line. We have a collapsed economy and outside investors reluctant to invest in our Island due to anti business attiudes of our Government Many older people and younger families cannot afford the expensive private medical insurance required by all who live in Sark Most of us have no access to legal aid or representation . We have no professional police force or customs officers leaving us wide open to the infiltration of criminals and terrorists . We have unqualified Judges and Constables with no legal training, We have no independent complaints authority to complain against the actions of these people in authority. Elizabeth Truss most of us are British citizens the same as yourself but you refuse to acknowledge our plight or help us. And guess what we are not thousands of miles away in a far off land but just approx 170 miles from your Westminster office95 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Name Hidden

Save Martin Mere from FrackingMartin Mere is a unique bird sanctuary of international importance and is located in a designated Fracking zone under PEDL licence 165 (south). Fracking in the vicinity of Martin Mere with dangerous chemicals and explosives used in this process would destroy the delicate infrastructure that has made Martin Mere the unique bird and wildlife sanctuary that it is today. As Fracking progresses in Lancashire from the Fylde downwards Martin Mere will soon face destruction unless public outcry makes the government make this an exclusion zone.1,103 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Brian Young

make polititcians and their families use NHS for all their medical needs. If the NHS is good enough for the rest of us,it should be good enough for polititcians and their families and makes them experience what they`ve created.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Hughes
