We are depleting this wonderful profession. How can anyone expect nurses to pay to work a shift whilst learning. We must value nursing as a profession and encourage men and women back into this valuable profession by giving them bursaries so that they can afford to learn and train. Otherwise we will have no nurses left in this country. We have a major recruitment crisis. Who makes these decisions that affect the health and welfare of our country

Not unlike other areas of government, democracy has not been aparant in Hyndburn for some time, however, the recent act of felling the town's two horse chestnut trees in front of the markt hall that were heading for 80 years old was nothing less than an act of criminal damage. In the past the council have blocked access to motor vehicles and filtered them towards 2 large superstores; starving the town centre of custom. They have built an unwanted bus station and even named it after the man that presided over the commencement of the demise of the town. They keep the town in a poorly maintained dirty condition and everything that they do is with the minimum of effort, but felling these 2 beautiful trees is the final straw. This petition is here to demonstrate to the council how we feel about them and their actions. It is not political but we do desire the current councillors to stand down and allow us to elect people that will democratically represent us.

The Freemasons is a semi-secret organisation and its objectives are anti-democratic. Its existence seems to be one reason why so many political decisions prioritise business interests (i.e: privatisations etc). Also, local councillors and planners enable developments to be built that are against the public interest. We have seen our population dwindle from over 600 people in 2010 to around 420 people in 2017.Whole families with young children have been forced to leave the Island to seek work elsewhere. We have no professional police force or customs officers leaving us wide open to the infiltration of criminals and terrorists . We have unqualified Judges and Constables with no legal training, We have no independent complaints authority to complain against the actions of these people in authority. And guess what we are not thousands of miles away in a far off land but just approx 170 miles from your Westminster office

Martin Mere is a unique bird sanctuary of international importance and is located in a designated Fracking zone under PEDL licence 165 (south). Fracking in the vicinity of Martin Mere with dangerous chemicals and explosives used in this process would destroy the delicate infrastructure that has made Martin Mere the unique bird and wildlife sanctuary that it is today. As Fracking progresses in Lancashire from the Fylde downwards Martin Mere will soon face destruction unless public outcry makes the government make this an exclusion zone.

If the NHS is good enough for the rest of us,it should be good enough for polititcians and their families and makes them experience what they`ve created.
