• All weather training facility
The Community has over the past five years got young people, boys and girls, involved in playing football in the area but these kids are being forced to go weeks without any training due to not having a all weather surface which has floodlights, they also have to postpone their 7 aside fixtures due to cold and wet conditions as there are so many teams using the same area the grass turns to mud very quickly.

  • Students who support the lecturers’ strike
The pension changes threaten young lecturers who are the future of higher education in the UK. Although we are aware that this strike is across the UK, this petition is to show that students at the University of Reading support and sympathise with their lecturers despite the disruption to their education. This petition is also vital because we deserve to know how the strikes will effect our grades and ultimately if there will be any reimbursement for the significant amount of education time missed, considering UK students are paying up to £9,250 a year for our education. This petition shows that students support their lecturers’ moral right to stand up for their pensions.

  • Zebra Crossing at Hampole Way/Westwood Way, Boston Spa High Street
This junction is notoriously dangerous, and is the natural exit/entrance point both from the Church Fields development and also from the three schools on Westwood Way. Many residents have experienced "near misses" and a child from West Oaks school was struck by a moving vehicle. A zebra crossing needs to be put in place to provide a safer place for pedestrians to cross; it will also serve to punctuate the flow of traffic into the High Street and help to slow down vehicles. Please provide this crossing before there is a really terrible incident.

  • Online Supermarkets to have Food Bank Function
Personally, I often forget to donate to food banks until I see the crate at the exit of the supermarket, and by then I'm all packed up and ready to go home. Of course, I could be more aware, and work on making it become a habit, but at the moment, I'm not very tuned in, although I'd love to be! Anyway, when I do my online grocery shop, which I am now trying to do on a more regular basis, I thought there was a significant change that could be made which would allow me to donate to food banks whilst doing the shop. For example, when I get my two tins of tuna for a discounted price, I could add one of those tins of tuna into a separate 'food bank' list. Rather than delivering these items to me, they could go straight into a food bank deposit system. Obviously it would need to be a simple user interface that doesn't get mixed up and confuse people and suddenly you receive the items you were trying to donate and the food bank receives the full order... So it could be quite difficult to do (I've got no idea, I don't work in systems!). Anyway, this is just an idea that I believe could work really well and could result in some valuable relationships between supermarkets and those in need.

  • BBC to show Womens Six Nations Rugby
In 2015 BBC and ITV banded together to ensure terrestrial coverage of all Men's Six Nations matches until 2021. However, no commitment has been made for equal coverage for women's matches, which are currently only shown on Sky TV in England and Scotland. We believe the women's matches should be equally accessible to the public.

  • BIG BUSINESS, SAVE OUR CLIMATE!
Big businesses need to take responsibility, and stop harming our climate. Throughout the world more and more wildfires, heatwaves, and floods show that we must take urgent action to achieve a safe and healthy climate. HSBC Unlike some other banks, HSBC invests much less in solar or wind energy, which are now good value. You can switch to a less harmful bank. RWE (Npower) Energy generator and supplier Npower is mostly owned by the huge multination RWE, which uses an awful lot of coal. You can switch to another company which uses clean energy. Danone Danone’s brands – including Evian and Volvic – sell bottles made of unrecycled plastic. Once they shape up and commit to making these changes, we'll target other irresponsible companies – and you can suggest some. By signing and sharing this petition you’re telling businesses they must stop harming our climate NOW. • FINNS CROSSING - Pedestrian crossings in Steyning, West Sussex
My 12 year old son Finn was involved in a car accident on Thursday 1st February 2018. It occurred at the junction of Church Street and Church Lane in Steyning. He was walking back from school at around 3.30pm, crossing the road with his best friend Jack and numerous other students, when a car clipped his left leg and ran over both of his feet. Church Street and Shooting Field are areas where the local Preschools, Primary school and both sites of the Grammar School are accessed. They are the local ‘school run’ roads. There have been numerous accidents and near misses in these areas over the years and there is nothing in place to help the pedestrians cross safely. After being personally affected, I feel it is my duty to draw attention to a much over looked issue before a more serious accident occurs.

  • Save and improve the Lincolnshire Norfolk 505 bus route
For the young, those unable to drive and people living in quite isolated areas the 505 bus service has become a vital resource. Connecting two busy towns and a great number of small villages and hamlets this vital artery of travel is the only way day to day life can continue. Villages like Fleet, like Gedney arnt serviced by shops and pubs. With no adiquate alternative these small towns will continue to be strangled. Many teenagers in the area at one time used this service for school or for work. This service has become curtailed and trimmed to a level where it is alteady possible for these people to take their first job that would finish at 6pm or later which in turn added pressure on social support services and the wider community. Yes this route should be continued. However, as the lifeblood of our local community should it not be extended to allow our children and non driving people access to work in the major towns of the area. Sign this petition if you feel people have a right to support themselves by working and looking for self improvement opportunities. Sign this petition if you think that bus routes serve the greater community rather than the dividends of shareholders. Sign this petition if you’ve ever finished work in the daylight and still not been able to get a bus home. Actually, I can’t thknk why you wouldn’t sign this petition.

  • KEEP MILLHOUSES PARK PUBLIC
Millhouses park is a destination park for the whole of Sheffield and beyond. It is not the biggest park in Sheffield but it is a very popular park because people feel safe within its boundary. It is a much needed green space which serves Carter Knowle, Nether Edge and the whole Abbeydale corridor, the areas of Sheffield with the least provision of green and open space in the whole city, far less per head of population than Sheffield's declared aspirations. Having recently been deprived of even more open space in this area, it is crucial that there is no erosion of any public open space in this park.

  • Save the Coasthopper Bus Service
Coasthopper bus service has operated on the Norfolk coast for twenty one years, giving vital connections to allow people to do their shopping or go out seeing friends. The service operates all year round. It must continue to operate with a new bus company not get scrapped. The coasthopper is needed. We can't lose this wonderful reliable bus service, even if Stagecoach don't realise this service is loved and people want to continue to travel on the service! Norfolk Green bus company operated the Coasthopper bus service from 1997. It was founded in 1990 by Tony Haynes. He was a gentleman and knew how to run an excellent bus service. Now after the takeover, stagecoach are proposing to withdraw the Coasthopper bus service completely, as it pulls completely out of Norfolk with the closure of the former Norfolk Green depot in Kings Lynn. This is so sad as Norfolk Green was the best bus company ever. They cared about their customers and gave the best service. So now Tony Haynes' legecy is being destroyed by Stagecoach!

  • SOS from SAS - SOS from St Anthony's School - Save Our School - Cinderford, Forest of Dean
Because we're a local village school with an amazing history of over 50 years. If the school is closed there will be circa 100 pupils to relocate alongside 5 new local housing estates being built; needing schooling for their children, there will be an extreme shortage of primary school places in the local vicinity. The children are proud to be St Anthony's children so please help save our school. £750,000 of taxpayers money has just been spent on external repairs which whilst looking great now, caused lots of disruption to the pupils with it being a live building site during the works that finally completed - just days before the school Head being summoned to London to announce thought of closure.
