• 'Last Christmas' For Christmas Number 1 2017!
Lets remember the iconic singer/songwriter and great man George Michael, who sadly passed Christmas 2016. 'Last Christmas' never made it to Number 1 in 1984, it would be a great honour to remember him by purchasing 'Last Christmas' again and placing it at the top spot for Christmas 2017 and for George. There have been many X Factor number 1's over the years but lets do this for a great man - George Michael. *THIS PETITION IS JUST FOR AWARENESS AND HAS NO INFLUENCE OVER THE OUTCOME WHATEVER*

  • Save Heysham Swimming Pool.
Cllr Margaret Pattison, Cllr Janice Hanson, Cllr Darren Clifford and Cllr David Whittaker are very concerned with living in a seaside area such as Morecambe and Heysham that children should have a local pool to learn to swim. The pool has 54.000 visitors a year with 16 schools using the pool for swimming lessons and groups helping people to keep fit and healthy, if closed this would effect the health and safety of the people in Morecambe.

  • Referendum on the final terms on which the UK will leave the European Union
The EU referendum represented a low point in post war UK democratic politics. Only now are problems coming to the fore that were not considered in the referendum and not debated at the time. Oeople did not know the consequences of them and Brexit impact reports are being unacceptably hidden from the people. This is unacceptable and we need a final decision when we know exactly what Brexit means and that means the full terms of an any deal.

  • Name a Midland Metro tram after Jeff Lynne
I won't pretend that this will change the world or that it is anywhere near as worthy a cause as a great many. It will however brighten sometimes rainy Midlands days, put a smile on people's faces and would be a nice way to say 'thank you' to Jeff for such great music and all he's achieved over the years. It's a big birthday for Jeff this year, too, and what better gift to give!

  • PADDOCK HOUSE
Paddock House is a derelict care home in the centre of the beautiful market town of Eye. It is on the site of a historic public green space. We demand that there is due public consultation and discussion before any commercial development is considered. There is huge potential to restore and upgrade the existing buildings to provide essential housing and amenities for our town.

  • Keep St Paul's Penarth for the community
St Paul's has been an important site for community cohesion since it was built, not only as a church, but as a community center, arts center and sports club. The mainly residential development of the building will deprive the community of a large and versatile space with the potential to serve the whole of Penarth for many years. It clearly needs to be re-developed, but the current proposal was agreed without any community consultation, and a previous 2013 consultation gave an overwhelming majority to retain a sole community function. This has been ignored by VoG councilors who have prioritised other agendas. We are asking the council to demonstrate proper consultation with the community rather than being left to object to a private construction company. We are suggesting that a far greater space than the proposed rooms are needed for community use and that the current design of residential dwellings are not suitable. Please sign this petition if you are interested in St Paul's retaining a primary function in serving the broader community for generations to come.

  • Save our park!
Children do not have many areas which are safe to play in as it is. In todays society, it is more important now than ever that our children have safe play areas to access close to their homes.

  • Save the Grace
This has been a very important venue to the people of Ellesmere Port for nearly eighty years. There has been a tremendous loss of pubs in the area in recent years. It is a very attractive building and taking it away would be very detrimental to the area.
