Ban dogs from the playing field (next to the school) - ChudleighThe green space next to Fore Street Play Park is used by school children throughout the day as well as for recreational use outside of school hours. But the dog mess left on the grass is a constant problem despite it being an area regularly patrolled by the Dog Warden and covered by CCTV. Unfortunately bins and notices fail to make any difference - the people who allow this to happen, do not care. Dog mess carries incredibly toxic bacteria which among other things can cause blindness. To have this space dog free would allow children to play freely without the constant worry of stepping in/falling in dog mess. There are many places dog owners can go to exercise their dogs without using this space. It would not be detrimental to the town, considering the fact that Chudleigh is surrounded by green space, all within a few minutes walk from any where in the town.62 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Chudleigh Mum

Penglais Sixth Form Lesson CutsMost other schools have 9 sessions per lesson over the course of two weeks, and some have 8, but Penglais only have 7 due to funding. It is important to have at 9 or at least 8 over two weeks as when it comes to exams we will be less prepared than other schools in Wales, and if they score higher marks in the exams, overall we will fall below and not get the results we deserve. The study sessions that have been used as a replacement do not offer the support of the classes to help towards exams90 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Morgan Jade Errington

Give Me 5 CampaignPoverty is a fundamental part of society, even affecting Scotland. In particular, poverty affecting children was announced to be rapidly growing. Recent statistics show an increase from 1/5 to 1/4 children in poverty, meaning an approximate 260,000 children are officially classed as in poverty. Despite the lack of publicity on the issue, this epidemic affecting dozens of families nationwide, and we need your support to convince local MSPs to consider the small cause. Spare change of £5 per child to create a big change, taking hundreds of families out of the grip of poverty.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Thomas Burns

CYCLE ROUTE ON HAMPSTEAD HEATH FROM KENWOOD TO THE LADIES' PONDDaily pond swimmers like me, who are being fined and taken to court for riding to the Ponds on No Cycling lanes, are being victimised. I have already been fined £500.00 after 2 court hearings. I'm nearly 70 and can ride far more easily than I can walk. My bike is like a disability scooter, only healthier! There seems to be a prejudice against cyclists on the Heath in favour of dogs. Many dog walkers walk as many as 10 dogs at a time and yet they seem to have the lobby which deprives cyclists of the right to ride on the Heath. Routes running North to South are particularly scarce and do not serve cyclists in the Highgate, Golders Green and East Finchley areas nor those coming up from Kentish Town, Gospel Oak and Parliament Hill. Surely we are kinder to the environment than cars on Merton and Millfield Lanes!53 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Barbara Massey

Better cycle storage for CanonburyThere are currently no secure cycle storage facilities in Canonbury, despite huge numbers of cyclists in the area. Bikehangars aren't expensive, only take up half a car parking space, and each provides secure, covered storage for six bicycles. For every one car space, 12 cyclists could be provided with storage. A recent consultation on the placement of additonal bikehangars in Islington led to plans for 18 new bikehangars, but all are in the north of the borough, with a third of them placed across 4 adjoining streets in Upper Holloway. The nearest proposed bikehangar to the Essex Road area is a mile away. Islington prides itself on being a green borough and supporting cyclists benefits everyone - reducing traffic, noise and pollution and encouraging healthy lifestyles. The Council needs to represent the interests of residents in all areas of the borough, not just the north section. As more people cycle, the borough will become cleaner, greener and healthier. With better cycle storage, everyone benefits!15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Emily Waller

The Smiths ReunionPlease sign this petition to encourage The Smiths to reunite for a one off gig in Manchester for the original fans and also to raise money for charity. This would be the biggest concert in Manchester history and it could possibly raise an extravagant amount of money for charity whilst giving their die hard fans the opportunity of a life time. Imagine the money that could be raised for charity and remember its the fans that made you who you are today. I think they deserve a one off concert as it has been approx. 30 years since the best band ever split. We are not asking for a come back but surely it would not kill you all to reunite for one /two nights for a good cause would it?2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Donna Webster

We would hope to have an internet cafe giving people the chance to use the internet to help keep in touch with family or even to job search, find forms etc, the cafe will be affordable and provide home made cooking, we would like to help the other current groups on the park that cannot make it all of the time to open up we need a presence not only within the park but also within the community, x we will be attending a meeting approx 19th Sept, date to be confirmed, we would like all residents that want to make the park safer and also house a community hub for all of the local residents, and children, to come to the Pavilion Brerevon ave Cleethorpes, N E Lincolnshire, on that date, to show support for the proposed Community Centre, the meeting we had today we had no support from in the physical, but have tremendous support online, we are asking that locals come to see us, on the above date time to also be confirmed to show us how much you care, and how much you would want to make the park safer for your children, x PLEASE COME and thank you, xxx...............
