• The Smiths Reunion
Please sign this petition to encourage The Smiths to reunite for a one off gig in Manchester for the original fans and also to raise money for charity. This would be the biggest concert in Manchester history and it could possibly raise an extravagant amount of money for charity whilst giving their die hard fans the opportunity of a life time. Imagine the money that could be raised for charity and remember its the fans that made you who you are today. I think they deserve a one off concert as it has been approx. 30 years since the best band ever split. We are not asking for a come back but surely it would not kill you all to reunite for one /two nights for a good cause would it?

  • Improving Queensgate shopping centre
This is important because there are not a large range of shops in Peterborough so you have to travel to get things you want or buy things of online. Also it is dated and it is not modern at all.

  • Campaign for Proposed Community Centre, Sidney Park, Cleethorpes.
The reason we feel we really need this building is to help the children and families in and around the area, there is so much crime and anti social behaviour we need to help support the local families, and specially the children by ways of giving them lots of activities a youth centre, where they can socialise and feel safe to go into the park, at the minute parents are not allowing their children into the park or are scared in case they are thrown in the pond or threatened with knives or even asked to buy drugs, and take them, we feel these children need our help and nurturing to help them on the right road, and also be there to support their families, with support groups and advice drop ins such as debt advice or housing advice, police drop ins maybe, slimming advice, and well being classesm martial art / self defence and first aid and life saving classes, would be great and also it will give residents somewhere to bring their families and also be able to socialise themselves, over a cuppa or bingo, possible new skills classes job clubs, etc, we would like to see clean toilets the park has the odd couple of toilets that are only open when other buildings on the park are open and thats not all the time or very often, we would help and provide clean toilet facilities also for disabled residents and members of public, also a changing area for children and also a feeding area, ... We would hope to have an internet cafe giving people the chance to use the internet to help keep in touch with family or even to job search, find forms etc, the cafe will be affordable and provide home made cooking, we would like to help the other current groups on the park that cannot make it all of the time to open up we need a presence not only within the park but also within the community, x we will be attending a meeting approx 19th Sept, date to be confirmed, we would like all residents that want to make the park safer and also house a community hub for all of the local residents, and children, to come to the Pavilion Brerevon ave Cleethorpes, N E Lincolnshire, on that date, to show support for the proposed Community Centre, the meeting we had today we had no support from in the physical, but have tremendous support online, we are asking that locals come to see us, on the above date time to also be confirmed to show us how much you care, and how much you would want to make the park safer for your children, x PLEASE COME and thank you, xxx............... We are so very very grateful for our online support , but truly need the public to come out and support us if this is what they would like to see in the Park, and for the area. i will update the page with the correct confirmed date and time as soon as i receive the information. once again Thank you for your support x

  • Stop extortionate gig resale sites
People are being ripped off massively by these websites. This is just one example; Today Liam Gallagher released pre-sale tickets at £40 to anyone who bought his album on pre-order they received a code to use to get the tickets. O2 priority also released pre-sale tickets today at the same price, both sold out very quickly. How can viagogo which is a resale site already have so many resale tickets available at £168 each, they currently hold over 700 tickets that people bought on pre-sale and now don't want?? Either viagogo have a load of Liam's new album on the way or there is something untoward going on. All this before the actual tickets go on sale on Friday. This is happening with all events now and something needs to be done soon to stop this.

  • Ban social media from under 16 year olds
To safeguard all children who fall into this catergory. Open and free access to social media of this age group is opening up access to paedophiles and is currently leading to vile and sickening acts being carried out by these sick people. We need to put a stop to this now before more children fall victim and have their lives ruined. The world will then lose the ability to have real time interaction with real children which is what needs to be done.

  • Save Exclusive LGBT
Exclusive LGBT provides a safe space in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas for the LGBT community. The lack of support for these nights has forced the organisers to cease trade and put an end to any more of these important events. Its imperative that anyone belonging to the LGBT community is provided with a safe place to be who they are without fear of discrimination and prejudice. A place to have fun, expand their circle, offer support and feel comfortable and protected. We must be heard and petition to the organisers of Exclusive to rethink, relaunch and continue their fight to end stigma and descrimination!

  • Unlimited attempts to take Literacy and Numeracy Skills Test for PGCE Teacher Training Courses
If you cannot pass the tests in your third attempt, like me, then this holds you back from becoming an outstanding teacher. 2 years is a lot of time and it holds students back from wanting to teach because if you cannot pass after 2 years then you have to wait for another 2 years. I would like unlimited chances to pass Literacy and numeracy skills test to be put back to action because the government is loosing so many highly skilled student teachers as they are unable to pass their qts tests. I am sure most PGCE students would agree with this.
